The difference, again, is the Titans are presumably not in the QB market and their QB needs to know how to win.  Games like yesterday can only help to build his and the other young guys’s confidence that their work paid off, at least for a week.

 

Someone with sense-- we're desperate but we have the hardest part figured out. We have a QB!

 

The next priority isnt even talent accumulation (which we need a lot of). Its finding the right head coach! So before we even get to the draft, we will have all the major foundational pieces ostensibly covered. Strong front office, good head coach (assuming we nail the hire), and a young franchise QB.

It feels like pearl clutching. And they are more offended now than in the past because more people are against them on it. Most people have seen the writing on the wall and dont give a shit if we have to eat a little more crap in the short term for the overall good. 

 

I wonder how many of these guys would fail the delayed satisfaction test they give kids where you can have 1 cookie now or 3 cookies later if you wait.

Improve the OL and get the running game going. 

 

I said it before the game, not as a prediction, but as a priority of 2026.  But the game certainly bore that out.  The OL played better and the running game got going.  Keep it up.  Make improvement there a priority with resources, and that doesn't have to include the first pick.  I'm confident Borgonzi will try to do this.

In the past 10 years... we are actually the most successful in flipping the 1st pick-- led to one of the best eras in Titans history (2019-2021). And still no SB berth.

There is a lot of irrelevent crap posted in this debate.  I'll try and frame the issue and weed out the garbage:

 

Obviously having more draft picks is a better option than have fewer picks.

 

But is it worth losing some potential picks to  reward the players with a win and take a step towards a winning culture?

The Titans front office already laid out their long term plan of getting as many draft picks in the top 100 

 

You don’t need anything else
