OnsideKick
The Panthers have signed LB Isaiah Simmons to the practice squad. This is the first team the former Cardinals first-round pick has been with since being cut by the Packers at the roster reduction to 53 on Aug. 26. Did we really want to go down the denver FA C route again? I really wish we got a chance to see how that signing would have worked out without the injuies. There isn't many starting C options that are going to be available in FA especially if the Ravens decide to pay or tag Tyler Linderbaum. Depending on how bad this latest foot injury is for Cushenberry it might be a case he remains in 2026 giving Borgonzi more time to find and develop his replacement. I’d put good odds on Cushenberry being the starting C again next year. His contract isn’t exorbitant and they have plenty of other holes to fill. Bongo59
Cushenberry needs to play at least one more yr. Levin can step in for him any time. And the rookie 6th rounder is an OG but word is he is getting practice reps at C too.

OnsideKick
Panthers transactions: -CB Corey Thornton to IR -LB Krys Barnes from practice squad to active roster -CB Robert Rochell signed to active -CB David Long signed to p. squad ___________ Sources: The #Seahawks are signing veteran RB Cam Akers to their active roster. Akers, still just 26, spent time with the Vikings this season and now joins 8–3 Seattle for RB depth. Edited November 26, 2025 by OnsideKick

Best option might be see if Slater can play C and sign a starter at RG. Do like your idea you mentioned previously of signing Alijah Vera-Tucker at RG to an incentive-laden deal. Also like Cade Mays from Carolina at C or OG. Edited November 26, 2025 by titanskick8851
