Should we be thinking about the cardinals as a team that could be lurking to make a trade up for a QB?

They would have to give up a young player to make me even consider it.

We're already in "terrible company", might as well get back to back #1 picks at the same time

I read another article talking about this very thing. Ward is probably in the absolute worst situation that a rookie QB could be in across NFL history. Basically the bottom line is that he looks compe

An in-line TE that can really block & is at least a capable outlet receiver who can make the occasional big catch down the seams or off play action is worth their weight in gold. These guys are actually very tough to find & IMO are underpaid & drafted. They play a much bigger role in the run & PA game than  fans realize.

If Bucs TE Cade Otton makes it to free agency we need to make a sizable offer.

It's 6 more games left in the season. The draft order is not set in stone.

It’s not but they dont have as many picks as in volume than the other “contenders”.

They basically have one pick in every round.  7 total .

Jets got five picks in the first 105

Browns have five picks in the first 110.

Vegas has six picks in the first four rounds (3 in the fourth though).

If you’re the Titans , if those other teams are close or above Arizona, Cards are at a disadvantage draft currency wise and need to make up that deficit by adding in a starting level young player

Oregon QB Dante Moore having another really good game today has thrown a couple of ripper deep sideline shots. I know the recent reporting has suggested he is likely to return to Oregon but I don't know how he can turn down the opportunity to be the #1 pick in the 2026 Draft which he likely would be if he declares.

I’ve been eyeing Woolen ever since it became obvious Borgonzi hated our secondary. They’ve been pretty clear they prefer long, fast press type corners & that’s Woolen to a tee.

I'd have to believe they'll tag or extend him

If the Cardinals wanted to get up to the top of the draft order for a QB I would be asking for Paris Johnson Jr in any negotiations.

How good has he been lately? I know he had a very rough start.

Would be surprised if the Cardinals would trade a young OL before selecting a QB at the top of the draft

I don't think they would but they don't have the draft capital firepower to outbid some of the others in front of the draft order if they don't include players in any offers.
