Personally, I'm in the "he kinda brought the firing upon himself but he was still a good coach and we had no talent" camp. Not many people in that exact camp. Most posters are understandably in the "fuck Vrabel" camp though. Im not saying its all the schedule bit it certainly is a big boon for him to have a mind numbingly easy first year. I said he would be a good coach if he could put his ego aside, let his gm do his job, and would hire real coaches and not yes men. Thats alot to ask though. I dont see any long term success. I bet his time there goes alot like it did here, outside him turing into a giant baby sp he can leave Edited November 10 by Callidus Mythos27

Between what he said at his induction ceremony to the Patriot HOF and the attempted power grab that failed here, Vrabel's intention to coach in New England was obvious to anyone who was paying attention. The talk about his coaching being the cause of our struggles rather than the roster being terrible was foolish. I also don't buy the narrative that he "forced his way out". I do however agree that he behaved in ways that could piss his boss off enough to fire him. He was certainly being overly forceful regardless of how he felt about Carthon. His success in New England was predictable to me though not to this degree. He didn't want to have to discuss roster moves with Amy. He asked for "a football guy" to be hired to communicate with Amy. The NFL is increasingly a year to year and at times even week to week league. He's doing a good job this year, he could totally implode next year. EC34
He took a team that we beat last year and turned it around in one-season. They are 8-2. He turns down a gimme 3 for a gutsy end of half TD. He manages the game perfectly from start to finish. And he was right, JROB and Carthon were ass cheeks. But, again, this site. No matter how wrong you are, as long as you put someone else down, you are 100% right. Number9, oldschool, and Somedude 2

Sometimes I forget just how dumb the average Redditor is, but luckily we get to read posts like this to remind me of their pond scum takes on the Titans. croatian22
The Patriots are favourites to win the SB. The difference between 2019-2022 Titans and this Patriot team is Maye and Tannehill. Tannehill cost us multiple SB titles. Everything else is bullshit by @OILERMAN oldschool
croatian22
But its so nice to see. Titans at 1-8, Vrabel at 8-2. Vrabel and me are winners, AAS and few idiots on this board are losers.

Number9
It is embarrassing for TitansReport to have posters saying Vrabel is a bad coach. Especially when the same posters supported bc until week 6. Why did they think bc was any good? This has become a if they said it board. You can see it particularly in the Henry talk. They just group up like the smart mouth little girls in 5th grade. It's pitiful. You question them, they say Pro Fantasy Football said. Really. They had stats to praise Mariota too. He was equal to Tom Brady on passes 6.1-6.3 yds. See. See. There's the data. LMAO! How many times have they said something contrary to what the top analyst say? Now he has a weak schedule. Good Grief! Get over it. Get your blankie. Wrap up in it and have a good cry. Then STFU!

titanruss
The only thing I will agree with OP and croation about is that this site justifies nearly every move as being fine or not a big deal, or inevitable. Then bashes people that think they are bad moves or think more could have been done. But Vrabel wanted out. Personally, I think Amy shouldnt have fired him, and then forced him to quit on the team. Then she could have not had to pay him and/or kept him from working again until someone bought out his contract. That's how you do petty. Also, there was an argument here that Vrabel (like some hilariously still try to claim with Fisher and Mularkey) wasn't actually fired... well, he just straight up said he was. So that settles that.
