There were two 3rd downs specifically where he got sacked in this game where even just slightly quicker processing would probably have resulted in a 1st. On one he escaped to his right but #44 got him from behind, if he processed the fact there was no one open just slightly quicker he probably leaks out for a 1st. Another one way Helm running across his face who I think he saw but it was too late as he swallowed the ball for a sack. Just slightly quicker, ball is out for a 1st, probably.

PK said the Titans should have "honored" Vrabel and he and Buck went to Vrabel's postgame presser instead of the Titans   That's some seriously embarrassing cock gobbling   Honor h

It's panic time for Latham. He's got to improve the rest of the season. As of right now he looks like someone who needs to be replaced

you saw all this from the broadcast view? You are confusing processing speed with play diagnosis... not the same thing

I'm talking about processing reads, the processing required to get to the point of either running away or throwing or not taking a sack/negative play. He is really close to avoiding them.

Whatever it is, Vrabel has come out smelling like roses and the Titans just look awful.  There's reasons for everything but for those who don't look at this stuff every day like we do it just looks bad for everyone involved with management/ownership.  And great for Vrabel.

That's about what it is.  NE has better personnel.  Look at Indy.  They wasted a high number one two years ago, but they were drafting well.  I actually like this year's daft.  If Helm could bulk up, he looks like  T-10 potential.

and how could you possibly make this observation without the all-22 and a deep understanding of the play concepts?

Can we be where the Patriots are in two years? They had miserable consecutive 4 win seasons and now seem to be back on the ascension.

How did they do it so quickly?

They took the pain and hit on Maye. Titans could easily be the pats next year if Ward is legit and they add a few key pieces.

Which is why I don’t really like arm chair qb ing straight off the tv broadcast .  Too much speculation by fans.

They hit on a qb and spent in FA.  We just have to keep on adding talent and hope Ward pans out.

Dont get me wrong. Ward def held the ball too long a few times. Didn't recognize the blitz and so on. Im specifically call out the idea you can speak to certain plays and say he missed a concept or didn't process tje field based on the broadcast view. Its impossible unless you get a replay cut up that speaks directly to it.

Well it's not just about this past game. It's just an observation that there are times where it seems if he just acted even slightly quicker based on what it looked like he was just about to do, it would have likely been a positive outcomes. It's just to say, he is close if he can speed things up. Didn't think it was that controversial.
