If you ship out McCreary after shipping out Brownlee you are completely clearing out the CB room. Sneed is 100% gone after the season as well.    I understand you want your own type of playe

I really want them to place Sneed on IR.    These should be his last snaps in a Titans uniform.

If they don't want to pay McCreary the big deal he's going to get after the season then I guess trade him for whatever you can get.    But if this time next year Brownlee and McCreary are pl

Problem with Reising is for a while now he has been veering towards Stillman level sensationalism trying to rile up the fanbase and away from any type of journalistic type reporting.

I agree that is prudent to take what he says with a grain of salt. If he was just spouting off his general opinion I wouldn't take as much note but he said that his belief is rooted in conversations he had with people in the building. That's hard for me to completely ignore even if it goes against what makes most sense to me.

@titanrussAnd now, I'm hearing from Buck that according to his sources, the Brownlee move was not a coaching decision but rather one motivated by the front office to get Armour-Davis in there. Not sure who to believe but this certainly aligns with what you said. Figured I'd tag you since I denied what you speculated earlier.

He has been saying that since a day or 2 after it happened.

Kuharsky, who covers the team closely, has said repeatedly he was released for culture issues. Also, saying that no one had issues with his play is flat out inaccurate. Here is an excerpt from one of PK's articles including direct quotes from Wilson:

"Look, I want him to play with the tenacity that he plays with and I want him to play hard,” Wilson said. “But the penalties must stop. We have to clean it up and I’ve been raised with the thought that if you allow it to happen, it’s not good. We’ve addressed it. We’re going to keep working on him getting his hands down at the top of the route, not grabbing, understanding when is the point to take your hand off receivers.

“At the beginning of the stage, yes be violent with your hands, move your feet. But as they start to go in the move area, we’ve got to drop our hands.”

Wilson sounded frustrated about the Brownlee penalties, saying they are unacceptable a year after he was called for nine. There will be practice work regarding them this week.

Brownlee stated that he didn't feel he had to make why changes to his game after this was said by Wilson. Everything isn't a conspiracy theory. He was asked to clean up his play, refused, and was sent packing. He probably thought we were too desperate to really hold him accountable and his bluff was called. That's not propaganda; it's accountability.

what did PK say?

also, it wasnt just buck saying that about Borg wanting his guys to play.

As far as dropping brownlee -

they tell him he needs to stop the penalties, he says he doesnt need to change his game. the next week he has zero penalties.

then he's traded? and now he still has zero penalties since then.

I also have issue with the nfl Refs. Week one Brownlee was grabbing no more than any one else but because refs scout and are told to watch certain players (which is a terrible idea unless related to player safety) he gets called for it and others dont.

I'm not really in this battle, though I did like Brownlee, but week 1 was atrocious in terms of penalties. At one point Denver's defense has PI 3 straight plays without a call.

This is a guy who was in tears over Carthon being fired….

A lot of ‘reputation’ PIs.

Yea, I don't remember him being a penalty problem as a rookie but he gets a few in one game and it's his reputation. I also heard people say the refs had it out for him, but they haven't flagged him since week 2!

And the source is likely an agent or someone close to Brownlee... buck is just too stupid to know hes being used.

Lets look at some of the trades/non trades. I realize this spans over different decision makers.

I don't think the McCreary trade is bad assuming they had 0 interest in keeping him. I think the Brownlee trade was worse.

The trade ups for two QBs who clearly couldn't play, especially Willis. They lost a 2nd for trading up for Levis.....lol. Then used a #1 pick on a QB! L-O-L

They refused a trade of Derrick Henry for a 4th only to let him go a few games later in free agency....lol.

They turned down a huge offer from the Rams and took Sweat. Watch them trade him now for some late round swap.

Ernest Jones. In hindsight would you rather have him at ILB under an extension?

The draft capitol they missed out on and the holes they could have filled vs what actually happened is obscene

Yes. Jrob, Vrabel, and Carthon made terrible decision after terrible decision over the course of 5 years and that's why the team is horrible. Hopefully Brinker and Borgonzi cam right the ship.

I forgot to include the Sneed trade, my God what stupidity

Sneed for a 3rd was nearly praised by everyone here. The only real concerns were his knee... of course he sucked so now we are going to pretend like everyone hated the trade at the time.
