To trade Sweat though you gotta get a 3rd back though. Likely a contending team would be interested-- the Bills come to mind

Borgonzi got Dike, Helm, and Ayomanor in the 4th. All have contributed just about as as much or more, respectively and individually, as Sweat has.

It'd be nice to get a 3rd for Sweat, but a 4th in Borgonzi's hands could be just as good as a 3rd in someone else's.

Pollard to the Ravens?

If you think trading away AJ Brown was a bad idea, trading Simmons is far, far worse.  He's a high level established player in his prime. Trading him also likely gets a huge negative reaction from tea

Once the Jets got Brownlee they didn't need Gardener

Nose tackles who dont destroy the pocket on pass downs are a dime a dozen. That pick never made any sense even without the insanely good trade offer we got for the pick.

Has anyone ever offered proof that the Rams were after Sweat (2-38)? Maybe they (wrongly) figured that we too coveted Fiske (2-39)and were trying to jump us for him?

The Rams didn't want Sweat they wanted Fiske.

It was shown on that Roku Channel Draft Documentary that the Rams were calling everyone at the top of the 2nd round offering their future 2nd and more to try and get up for Fiske.

I wasnt trying to imply that. I 100% believe they wanted fiske the whole way.

I do not understand the trade Sweat camp....We are a better team with him and he's still on his rookie contract.

If you can get marginal value you can replace him pretty easily. He hasnt shown any ability as a pass rusher and thats the only reason you spend more than a 5th on a nt imo
