What needs to happen after this year

The dreamier scenario is to start playing competitively awesome but losing every game at the last second and winding up with the #1 pick one more time and trading back for a massive haul that lets us load the hell up on talent the next two drafts.

Hate to agree, but this team isn't competing for anything. Hopefully the worst team wins 3 games this year and it's all at the end of the year. The entire roster needs an overhaul.

Never ending pain for Bain.

The absolute dream scenario is a repeat of what was on the table for them last year a trade back offer which included a future first round pick and still having the ability to draft the best player in

The draft is setting up nicely for edge rushers, but Bain is the prize in my opinion.

Losing sucks no matter how it happens, but losing games you're competitive in would go down a hell of a lot better than how these first three have gone down..

Drafting Rueben Bain Jr would be absolutely enormous. We’ve been beyond desperate for an impact guy off the edge & Im not sure Bain isn’t as good a prospect as Nick Bosa was. He was dominant as a true freshman & was still good last year despite some injuries. This year he’s just killing people. He has the profile of a guy who could be a pro bowler from the get…..very good as a tru freshman, built like a grown ass man with elite play strength, very polished with great bend & leverage, hand use, and inside/out approach. Total game changer…..

And its in a draft where we may see 3-5 qbs go at the top. The dreamer in me is playing the trade back and still get bain game already.

Have you been watching CFB? This so-called great QB class is looking like shit:

Manning - ass

Klubnick - ass

Nussmier - not ass, but not amazing

Sellers - ok, but not great

Lagway - total ass

Beck - pretty good, but not about to be drafted that high

There are some guys playing well, but nobody that looks like a sure fire top pick

I'm starting to think if we end up at #1 we may have to stick and pick.

There is always a couple of QBs who get shot up to the top picks at the end of the year.

Fernando Mendoza is now right in the discussion to be QB1 in this class probably battling it out with LaNorris Sellers who really teased his potential upside with some of those ridiculous throws against Missouri.

Garrett Nussmeier hasn't lived up to his preseason hype yet but many still see him as a first round QB prospect maybe not top 5 pick worthy though.

I also suspect there will still be teams such as the Browns intrigued by the physical traits of Drew Allar.

That kid from Indiana has been getting buzz, there was another lower profile kid i heard but can't remember the name of.

And we all know even if they dont blow it up teams almost always fall for a couple of them.

Its also still early.

You might be thinking of TCU's Josh Hoover.
