Oliver has been injured and unavailable all season. Restrepo has been healthy. If Oliver was healthy, you bet your ass people would be asking for him and complaining about him not getting a shot. We all saw how he flashed in preseason and camp. Of course we'd love to see him. Its also perfectly valid if some would want to see Restrepo first. He had better college accolades and a rapport with the QB1. Most people have never heard of Bryce Oliver and his resume' doesn't exactly stick out. The problem here is - yet again - a certain group of posters taking a moderate stance and turning things black and white or hyperbolic then insulting people for a stance they never had or weren't committed to. Restrpo hase not even been given a chance and yet you have written him off. Yet on the other hand, while only having a limited sample size yoi defended kyle for 2 years to get his shot. They are also a bit more comparable than you may want to admit. They both are strickly slot only wrs with no special teams ability unless you count muffing punts for kyle. Sure Philips looks like a rocket ship compared to Restrepo, but his long speed was rather limited. He played 37 snaps in the first game of his rookie season. The slot receiver spot has also changed, teams don't use the small shifty guys anymore. And the real reason Restrepo doesn't get elevated when Kinsey and Prosche do is because he doesn't play STs, at all. Philips was a dynamite return guy in college. Restrepo did it a few times and was terrible. He's not on coverage teams. So basically "fans" want him to get elevated on the 45 man roster and only be the slot guy. That's not how it's works. He's not good enough to take up a spot on the 45 and only play WR. Kinsey played 22 ST snaps last week when he was activated I joke around about it but it's actually pretty simple stuff. You don't want him taking snaps from the other rookies, and Van Jefferson has caught 8 of 10 targets for 116 yards over the past two games.
