I don't think that college numbers are the end-all point of evaluation, but that should be included while making a direct competition. I revisited my attempt to evaluate Sanders, and I see the same exact thing that we have seen out of QBs drafted by the Titans- they mostly throw the ball fine, but they are so bad in the pocket that it's impossible to imagine them ever performing well in anything other than the most ideal circumstances. This is the type of pocket presence and movement that the Titans need to get the hell away from. That's the game that scares me about him vs NFL defenses with NFL speed. Pretty much a draw I guess. I meant that Ward had more help. Sanders had good receivers but his offensive line and running game were both non-existent and his defense wasn't any better than Miami's. Damn... a bit rough. Do you think any of his father's athletic ability was passed on to Sanders? I would think Sanders would be more athletic and quick than Cam Ward. But yes. I NEVER watch college football. Only highlights. At this point, I think situational awareness and being quick on his feet is more important than pure athleticism.
