What they are saying is 1) New GMs don't want a coach forced on them 2) Callahan wouldn't be forced on Brinker 3) Someone has to answer for this year's personnel, which is Carthon Now, you can get rid of all this bullshit by just firing everyone. That is the right move. If you don't fire Callahan then no GM worthy of the spot will come into the role with Callahan and his staff being forced on him. Problem is if Callahan is on a one year prove it do you want the young QB bounced from a system after his rookie year. Best to just clean house and have the new coach focused on the QB for 3 years. The current FO setup has given us the worst results in the league. To move on from that situation means either firing Callahan and staff or forcing them on a new GM. The middle ground is keeping Brinker who was on for the Callahan hire. The other option is to keep the entire setup intact.
