This guy was a scumbag who bragged about their new AI model that auto denied claims. They deny over 30% of all claims that come to them… all while recording record profits year after year. The shooter likely lost a loved one that needed lifesaving care but were denied.  Rot in hell scumbag. Link embedding is broken as hell right now so I had to screen record the vid

It's still not as funny as @heyitsmeallen's loser buddy dropping dead while tweeting about it instead of calling 911

Pretty sure he did call 911. But this is way funnier. CEO of the top insurance company in the USA and also the top denier of claims gets taken out. Hope his autopsy is deemed as an unnecessary procedure and they bill his estate for all they’ve got.

From article on CNBC this morning:

"Shell casings found at the scene where the UnitedHealthcare CEO was shot dead by a masked gunman in front of a busy New York City hotel had the words “deny,” “defend” and “depose” written on them, a senior New York City law enforcement official briefed on the investigation confirmed to NBC News on Thursday."

"Prior to the shooting, the gunman purchased a water bottle and two protein bars from a nearby Starbucks and discarded the items, according to a senior New York City law enforcement official briefed on the investigation.

Investigators recovered a video showing where the suspect discarded the items, and police collected them as evidence, hoping it could aid in the investigation, the official said."

Those make it continue to line up with vendetta for denied coverage issue rather than a hit for whatever other reason.   Especially the Starbucks purchase then left nearby.

I'm confused why the Starbucks purchase points to anything but I think a Vegeta makes sense.

And it's far from the right answer but it also feels inevitable. I think there's a huge disconnect between executive class and populace but few answers and a lot of turmoil and consternation of people looking for solutions. With a big enough population, violence is always a solution someone with choose.
