scine09
What level did he get to? Did he cheat to beat levels? I think those are the most important questions. Edited May 29, 2025 by scine09 NashvilleNinja
Justafan
This is a business of grinding and alphas. Word got out around the league that Brinker was the guy in charge in Tennessee and even if some fans don't want to admit it, it was painfully obvious that Carthon wasn't putting in the grind required to be good as an NFL GM. No team will hire him after the way he exited here. OILERMAN

His one thing he seemed to be somewhat good at was connecting with players in negotiations. Dont put him in charge of which guys to talk to, but give him a rod and tell him where to fish and he may add some value.
OILERMAN
I suspect Carthon will likely carry around a transistor radio and live alone with his mother. He'll push a shopping cart around Baptist Park and likely be be-friended by Callahan. Justafan, and ChesterCopperpot1

Teach a man to fish and you can sit back and let him feed your fat ass the rest of your life.

Which if he's been wise with his money, he could easily get away with doing that. Right. Ran will take a lower level job. Robinson won't. Could see him taking some job back at SF... Yeah, could see Ran take a job somewhere as a pro personnel director at some point.
SuperFreak90
Robinson won't get a real NFL job until Amy pays him all his extension money.

He won't get one at the level he was at regardless. Maybe some personnel executive like Ruston did. He had about as bad a run as a GM could have his last 3 years and he also walked into the easiest rebuild situation in history.....#1 overall pick, a 2nd year QB and 3rd year LT already in place, tons of cap space, and a roster easily upgradeable.
