I think Shedeur Sanders is the best offensive scheme fit, and I feel like the org is now equipped to deal with Deion’s intrusion with Carthon at the helm and Cally being a guy who really incorporates tons of feedback from his QB and fosters that relationship.

If you take Sanders and it doesn't work out it's going to be an absolute nightmare because of the shitshow circus that will surround him.

He's ball placement accurate and throws with anticipation.  Probably the most mechanically sound QB coming out.

I don't know how anyone could watch the first half of that Texas/Georgia game and think geez I hope the Titans draft Carson Beck, the last thing this needs to do is waste more draft capital on a bum Q

I doubt any teams are worried about Deon's threats

I've watched him and just don't get the love.  I don't think it's a LeBron/Bronny level of league nepotism by any means, but if he weren't Prime's son he'd be looked at as a mid-round flyer, IMO.

Eh I wouldn't go that far. He's a legit first round prospect with high level understanding and recognition of the defense pre-snap and post snap. He's good maneuvering in the pocket and out of it.

I do think he's a bit hyped, but he's earned as much with his play. He's made several clutch game winning drives and has stood out as a QB with traits that can be developed in the league.

With that said, I don't want anything to do with that kind of circuits, because as you noted he isn't some all-world prospect. I do think he's quite similar to Daniels with Washington without the pure arm strength.

Funny you mention Purdy because he also has those traits that Sanders seems to.

Lol...Sanders is not Purdy.  Come on man, if you like Sanders, that's fine...a lot of people do.  I just don't see it.

He's actually quite a bit like Purdy. He doesn't have a cannon and isn't a supreme athlete. What he does have is YAC and level throws on-time as well as just enough athleticism to extend plays.

His pressure to sack ratio is a huge concern for sure, but from what I've seen it isn't a Mariota type situation, more him trying to make too much happen.

You may be right.  If there one thing I've learned, it's that it's hard to predict how QBs will translate regardless of how often we try.  I just don't think any of the QB prospect warrant a top 5 pick for us, especially if Hunter is available.

What exactly is this circus that people are talking about ? Once his son gets drafted Deion will be too busy coaching Colorado to be too much of a distraction.

I mean I get why he could be annoying to an extent now by dictating which teams he wants to go to now.  But after the draft I don’t see much distraction from Deion especially once the seasons start.

I guess we'll find out, because I do think he'll go #1...probably to Carolina.
