This is it right here.

Whoever the QB ends up being the rest of the way this team isn't going to beat the likes of the Bills/Lions/Vikings/Texans unless they get more efficient running the ball and get a lot more from the p

I want to see Rudolph after two weeks of practice with starter reps and the offense tailored to him. No reason he can't run the offense like Browning did for the Bengals last year.   Callaha

What a world of difference. If Levis makes that read/throw (and continues that kind of play) we're not sitting here talking about all shoulder injury that potentially ends his stint as a starter for the franchise.

He didn't just dive onto his throwing shoulder. He dove onto his career.

No, I didn't. Stop making shit up. I said his ceiling was a top 12 to 10 QB. That is obviously not what you're insinuating I said.

And no, was never a Levis homer. The entire point was that the team was moving on from Tannehill after they didn't re-sign him. Once Levis blew up the Atlanta game, which stopped us from trading Henry, then it was very obvious the team wanted him to be the franchise and would give him every opportunity.

As you noted they said they're going to start him again after 9 turnovers in 13 quarters...so yeah that was correct.

You bet someone 100 to 1 Levis would not be benched for Rudolph and you mocked me for suggesting it would happen.

Of course you were 100% on the Levis hype train. You called him a franchise QB.

I get it, they want to play Levis all year and hope he'll develop through it etc.....

First off, he won't.

But what degree are they willing to look foolish and embarrass themselves? What about humiliating Levis week after week? "At least he didn't throw the ball behind him".

The Titans have played 4 of the easiest games they have so far. The scores were close aside from the GB game.

There are games coming up they will be boat raced and the OL and Levis will be under siege.

Are they going to keep sending him out turning the ball over and getting beat week after week when the rest of the team knows he shouldn't be playing?

I said the organization considered him as QBOTF and wanted him to be the franchise. Get it right. Seeing as they're adamant about starting him again I was correct on that front.

They're rolling with Levis because they want a complete evaluation.  Like it or not four games is not enough time.  Maybe in your mind you've decided but they see these guys in practice every day and they want to give him a complete season to see if he can cut down on the boneheaded mistakes and take strides.  And if he can't?  They look elsewhere.  They know what they have in Rudolph and they're not going to the Super Bowl regardless.

I disagree that anyone knows what they have in Mason because he has never been given a full chance. He is 9-4-1 and has shown consistent improvement.  Levi is 3-9 and people say he hasn't been given enough chances.  That's only two games less than Mason.

While spending 300 mill on free agents at or above 30yrs old to win now

Clearly they’re willing to spend and could have on QB but they made Levis the undisputed starter and signed basically the cheapest backup in the league.

yeah, they clearly were ok with sinking or swimming with Levis.

They’re dumb… lol

Yeah , you don’t spend that amount of money to finish in last. They definitely wanted to be competitive.  Also wasn’t the main reason that Carthon was hired was that he didn’t think they needed a total rebuild  and he could get them to be competitive?

Shit, the broadcasters for the last two weeks know this .  I don’t think Callahan is a moron here.  So at some point , whomever are the holdouts here will just have to relent and admit that this guy was a bust and just eat the sunk cost and bench Levis permanently.

In the two drives last night , the retard learned nothing.  More starts =more losses and no one wants to be associated with that.

Once they got the 10 point plus lead, they called 2 pass plays...a play action boot and then the 3rd and 11 pass to Chig in the EZ.  The only way they were losing the game is if they handed it to Miami.  It was so similar to the Chicago game in that the Dolphins offense was inept.

In the first half, they had a few plays where they did go downfield - the ball to DHop, the pass to Boyd to setup the FG before the half.  I suspect if Rudolph does play where it's game planned or the other team's offense doesn't suck, they'd be more aggressive.

Having levis watch this game and the bears game over the bye would be a good idea.

I doubt it makes much of a difference but it would be the next logical step in trying to get threw to  the mayolo man

Edit: and i am definitely calling him mayolo from now on.

Brian Callahan was brought here specifically because he’s an offensive minded coach and to develop Will Levis or the guy after him.

Pulling the plug on that 4 games into the season for a guy who passed for 85 yards and has been a career backup QB just to potentially have a better chance to win 6 games would be the most Titans thing I have ever seen.
