His feet were most definitely coming out of the car when the dude yanked him out by the neck. Whether he was going to stand up or just sit there is hard to say because the cop immediately grabbed him out of the car.

I agree his feet were coming out of the car at that point but it was too late by then.  They had already asked him multiple times to get out and he didn't.  You have to give law enforcement some leeway in those situations IMO, especially when they are dealing with someone behind a tinted window who is acting unreasonable.  I have no problem with erring on the side of caution for officer safety in those situations.

Watch the video again and watch how ridiculous Tyreek is acting.  He keeps saying they are beating on his window like crazy and that obviously didn't happen.

That video is a bad look on everyone in it.   Tyreek is a moron.   The cops think they can be assholes and attack people while hiding behind weapons and a badge.   Talk l

Cops legally don't have to protect citizens. If they see a known attacker with a weapon, they can ignore the person. This has been upheld in court multiple times.   However, cops are also al

This attitude that anything short of model behavior gives cops the green-light to use excessive force is directly what leads to people getting shot for little reason. I get that cops have a tough job

Obviously the best part of the video though is when Tyreek is crying about having knee surgery and one of the officers says he needs to have ear surgery LOL

those cops were on a massive power trip lol. They even told him to quit crying when he was face down on the ground.

Tyreek is an idiot. What he said at his presser was way off from reality.

Cops were dicks on a power trip.

Perfect recipe for entertainment

I'm not excusing his behavior. He did bring it on himself in the end. But the fact that cops are this quick to act the way they are is ridiculous. These cops did not act in a professional manner. I don't know what all happened before this video. I assume Hill was speeding recklessly and if so that plays into their demeanor. But FFS they have bodycams on and feel like this is the proper way to respond to a situation. It clearly isn't. Hasn't one of them already been suspended?

Oh for sure.  And that's why it was such entertainment.  I have to admit I love seeing a guy like Tyreek get a fucking reality check when he blatantly disrespects a police officer.

I mean come on man, watch the first part of the video.  The cop pulls him over and politely asks him why he's not wearing his seatbelt.  There's no attitude or power trip at that point.  And instead of simply acting like a normal person, Tyreek challenges his authority, falsely accused him of beating on his window, and then rolls up the window and refuses to talk to him.

What was the cop supposed to do?  Walk away and give Tyreek special treatment?

Exactly. Only one side is the professional, and you should be held to the appropriate standard. Bending, shading, or breaking the law because a guy talked slick isn’t a perq of the job

Maybe act like an adult instead of matching his energy.

You would have to know FL laws to know if the cops acted within the law. Assuming rolling your window down at a traffic stop is a legal requirement in FL Tyreek did fail to comply which could lead to him being detained. They told him to sit while he was detained and he didn't so they made him. The cops didn't help the situation and totally escalated it so yea they did a shitty job. They didnt beat him or illegally detain him though. The cops that were on the power trip probably only lose those easy OT hours working Dolphins games.

I loved when one cop was telling Jonnu to leave and the other is telling him to stay and provide his info lol. He had no clue what to do.

The body cam cop stops and turns to the other 2 officers and whispers its tyreek. They knew who they were dealing with. I just had knee surgery I cant sit as he says on his way to play in an NFL game lol.

Completely unnecessary force. First of all, you don’t have to roll your window down after you give the police your info. There isn’t a single state in the USA where that is a law. Second of all, they detained and attacked bystanders who were legally filming and viewing the unnecessary force. I think tyreek is a POS but he didn’t deserve what he got just for giving some attitude. This is a major reason why everyone says police lack the ability to de-escalate. Because they do. They always are the ones who escalate situations and make them worse.

He hadn't given them any info at the point he rolled his window up, In the cops mind, he's trying to hide something and it's their job to assume it might be a weapon.

Anyone who's ever read my posts on the politics board, knows I'm not some super cops are always right type of guy; but he did almost everything wrong.  They didn't recognze him so when he immediately rolls his window up like that they have to assume there's something he's trying to hide and in a no permit carry state that could easily be a weapon. On top of it he refused to obey lawwful orders; in that situation they're trained to protect themselves and the many pedestrians in the immediate area by minimizing any threat. Jonnu was told not to pull over in front of him but proceeded to do so anyways, once again they don't know it's a Dolphins team mate and he didn't follow the lawful order but wanted to argue with them. Yes they were quick to take it to the next step, but there were a ton of people in that immediate area.

Yeah exactly.  Tyreek wanted to cause a scene and he did.

People seem to forget we're talking about a guy who previously beat his pregnant girlfriend and then abused a child several years later.

If he was more than 20 over in FL that's criminal speeding and right there they  have the right to detain and arrest him.
