croatian22
What a great day to be an American. Congratulations to everyone who voted for president Trump. Jamalisms, Mercalius, and Titandan 1 1
ChemEngr79
"No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people"... Seems appropriate today. I am amazed that we have now effectively engaged Idiocracy in the US. We are in for a chaotic/criminal shitshow. The democratic brand is just not strong and people blamed them for the economic woes. That's literally it. I've said it a couple of times over the last handful of months but the fascinating thing is that Trump is a uniquely unqualified and disqualified candidate who ran a shit campaign that floundered in multiple ways throughout. And it was still neck and neck or, as has proven out, he won anyway. The Democratic party is just plain bad at building and running and messaging campaigns. They have so many built-in advantages and all that does is get them roughly even over time. If they can't figure out how to message and appeal to people, if they can't figure out how to counter the red-pilling going on with youth - something not discussed nearly enough because that's a toxic wasteland that will last for decades if they don't do something about it - then it will only get worse. It's really painful having that party be the only viable option between the two. And I do expect it to get worse. oldschool, Mythos27, and ChemEngr79

That's a major oversimplification and there's a whole lot more wrong with how they operate but it often reminds me of companies or groups that try to govern through committee. Everything comes out as lukewarm piss, lacking actual appeal.

Centrists laughed and said their days as a national party were over if they did they did this. Fast forward 12 years and to no one's surprise, they centrist were wrong. On social issues; for sure this is a center-right country and most of us are in the minority. Economic issues are different though. What this election shows is that people are hurting, they need help, and they don't particularly care where that help comes from. This makes perfect sense even if we don't like what it lead to. headhunter
Where to begin and I'm not gonna waste my day responding back on here all damn day. 1. Harris was a shit candidate and it makes me laugh people thought she won any debate. Her and Walz are poor debaters, and Harris is the worst I've seen and Walz is absolutely a weird jackass that put tampons in the boys bathrooms. She cannot go off script and this was easy to see as soon as they kicked Biden off the ticket and they absolutely did. 2. Trump ran a flawless campaign, he assembled an absolute dream team of Vivik, RFKjr, Musk, Tulsi, Vance Nobody knew anything about JD Vance but the man is articulate and I look forward to him being the next president and he will. And then you add in that perfect photo of Trump raising his fist after he was hit. That will be in the history books. 3. The Dems crutch is California. They absolutely need California in every election but it's also their Achilles heel. That place is ran like a shit hole with shit hole candidates, Californians are also moving away from there to move to red states like TN. Never have anybody from California run for president. 4. Dems have a self anointing issue that think they do no wrong. Just look how manipulative the media was this election cycle, this was never gonna be close, and the media absolutely lies and people see through their bullshit. The media definitely did their best to get Harris elected but fortunately people are smarter than believing anything they say. Dems and the media will never admit any wrong ever and it pushes independents away 5. Liberal views are absolutely dead (Ripip) and it needs to be. Has nothing to do with putting money in families pockets at the end of the day and they have the worst views in the modern day all revolved around emotion just look at California and Europe. I'm going to say again that Sinema and Manchin - centrists - blocking Biden's "liberal" initiatives was the beginning of the end for this cycle. If the help you offer doesn't materialize, good luck. Stand for nothing but "not being that guy" and produce nothing but normal operations and see what it gets you. Starkiller, and Mythos27 1
