Henry was recorded discussing his feelings that he was almost gone, mentioning details about a near trade (while clearly holding back some details from the audience). I mean sure, he could be lying, but that's not a rational take. Henry has no reason to lie there and the team doesn't benefit from lying to Henry by telling him they were gonna trade him, only to kill the deal last minute ("Hey, we don't value you and are gonna move on. Oops, j/k, we still love you!). The details are probably not quite right, and it may not have been the Ravens interested, but it's highly probable the Titans were looking to trade Henry mid-season and that someone was interested. I said during the season when none of this was talked about that something looked off. This was it. He was told he was being shopped.

Don't under sell that diamond in the rough. 20 million minimum and Henry will be lucky to take the vet minimum and stay in the league.

The team will owe him money regardless. He also has time as a guard. They could think the cap savings isn't worth it due to the dead money. Zero chance he's a starter. They drop back in a zone and Fields has absolutely zero pressure. He has a slot guy open over the middle and the other on a go route wide open. He hesitates and then takes a sack against a 3 man rush after having multiple options with 4 to 5 seconds to make a decision. Instead he just runs into the sack. This is why I like Levis. He's at least decisive even if it's a bad throw or decision. Give me that all day over a guy like Mariota/Fields. It's possible they tell him to take a pay cut to be a backup. Who knows. What won't happen is him being a starter next year for the Titans.

March 18th is the date to watch with Dillard when that extra $3 million becomes fully guaranteed plenty of time to acquire his replacement and still cut him. The Titans simply don't have the urgency as all the teams scrambling to become cap compliant as they already have more than enough cap space to do what they want in FA. I called his exact comparison when he was drafted and touted the pick. It's cringey how you ride Tannehill's nuts and go out of your way to dog Henry. Justafan
Dillard is almost certainly a post-June 1st cut, so there is no rush to dump him for cap space until you have another Tackle on the roster.

According to Spotrac - his salary fully guarantees on 3/13. Which could mean he can‘t be designated a June 1 cut since those releases have to be executed after the start of the new league year. LongTimeFan
Hopefully Spears won't go down the Tony Pollard route. Pollard is now a shit RB after he lost a shiity Zeke as a RB partner.

Might explain why they haven't. For 3M, you might as well keep him as a swing T.
