Ravens? Dallas? LOL You're citing the teams down the list a bit, but many of those have as many or more reasons to think it's possible than ourselves. 1 hour ago, IsntLifeFunny said: Iowa is being unmercifully bludgeoned in this thread lol. BudsOilers
You could easily have the Titans in that cluster of teams below KC, Cincy (w/Burrow), Philly, SF).

By stating the fact you enjoy sucking off the coaches from our division and have done so for 3 straight years? Guilty as charged I guess.

Maybe they foresaw this during the FA period and that's why they didn't go after any FA WR in March.

I agree with him quite a bit when it comes to Vrabel. Most of us do. That doesn't change his posting patterns or the fact he has openly discounted the 21 Titans, a better team by every single measure including points (our offense is terrible), a team with the most injuries in the NFL, to prop up the Colts and Jags. It's honestly embarrassing.

Talent is WAY more important than coaching at the NFL level. Yes some coaches are better than others but the vast majority are still highly competent (not perfect). Bill Belichick is likely the best of all time and the Patriots have been complete garbage since the talent drop off. You can't coach your way out of players who suck. Garbage? LOL!! See why we run it. Everyone wants to redo the playbook when the talent just isn't there to do it. New OC this year, nothing to build on. We have to play ball control(run Henry) and hit them with PA. Three and outs are something this team can't survive. I used to watch Farve come out throw three passes/out. Next series 3/out. Then next series TD. He's throwing balls all over the field, we do not have that kind of talent.

I still stand by the idea that Tannehill didn't want an extension thus forcing the Titans to reach for Levis despite the fact that he didn't really seem like a RC type QB based on his comments. StephenIsLegend
I haven't been paying NEAR as much attention lately, but I don't mind what Ran has done. Not a fan of Will Levis, but I feel like that was more a Vrabel pick than anything else. The soft rebuild he is attempting looks good so far. I still can't believe JRob fucked the team so bad. So Tannehill forced the Titans to draft Levis now? Zero evidence of Tannehill wanting to be anywhere but here and he seemed surprised they went QB in round 2. I think it's more about the team wanting options given the overall roster makeup - hoping the young guy hits on a rookie deal and knowing they have the cap space and ability to retain Tannehill year to year through 2025, which seemingly coincides with what one would expect his high level play window to be. If it turns out the Titans have a bad season in 2023, I wouldn't expect any of the high priced vet guys 30 + to come back - Tanny, Henry, Byard, Hopkins - and you go full rebuild. Conversely a 2019-2021 resurgence and they could keep rolling with the vet core pretty easily.
japan
His first offseason hinges on the OL. Was a know shitshow before taking over and it seems little was done to improve it. We’ll see fairly quickly how it goes.

You have said in the past it has been the talent of this team that has carried it despite the subpar coaching from your perspective. If so why do you think the talent we have now isn’t enough to beat kc/Cincy/buffalo when it has been able to in the past?
