What Trump has done is much, much worse than Nixon. No comparison.

Was Hunter indicted?

There needs to be a strong deterrent to this happening again.

Because he knows MAGA nation will blindly support literally anything he says….even a fantasy that exists only in Trump’s mind when  reality is the exact opposite of what he says.

It really is strange the type of power he wields. Even people like Guapo and LTF, intelligent guys, will go really far out of their way to conflate issues to paint him in a better light while openly acknowledging they hate the man.

It's how he conditions his followers to accept worse and worse things as well.

Take note of his comments about being a dictator for a day and his comments about how a president can close the border by saying its closed. He's conditioning them to actually want him to have that power. So if he gets reelected, he'd push for more dictatorial power and they'll cheer him for it.

One day isnt enough because the Deep State is stopping me from saving this country!

It really is obviously to anyone with 2 brain cells what he's setting up. He wants power for life because it's the only way he doesn't go to jail. He'll overthrow the entire country to save his own ass. Anyone who doesn't believe that is an imbecile.

They all just parrot right wing media. And right wing media toes the party line. And the party line nowadays is whatever Trump says…

Yep. Acting as if there are truly competing factions in the Republican sphere is for all intents and purposes bunk at this point. It doesn't mean there aren't conservatives with differing opinions, but at the federal level anyone in a position of power either bends the knee or is removed.

Occasionally there are a few points of daylight in the Trump vs the id of the base — most notably a few years back on the vaccines. Then Trump clumsily backtracks / his base shuns holding him accountable, and within a few days he's at a rally spitting hate of whatever latest boogeyman and all is forgiven.

I listened to a law podcast about the Biden Doc case....

The findings showed there was no criminal intent because he fully cooperated and did not purposely commit a crime. This was all on page 1.

The stuff about his memory and what a jury would do was the special prosecutors own opinion and the podcast hosts said was inappropriate because it was political. They compared it to Comey talking about Hillary.

I've heard many people say after the election Garland could likely get fired over this

I pointed this out earlier but they kicked Pete Strozk off the Trump investigation because of some appearance of bias yet we now see a pro-Trump special counsel spinning a document into an anti-Biden attack ad.

No way they rule that presidents have immunity because it’s a ridiculous argument. They just wanted to delay his criminal proceedings.

I tend to agree, but this SC is more unpredictable than previous ones, especially when it comes to Trump.
