So why were they there on January 6 at all? Why not January 5th? Why not January 10?

 

It just randomly happened that they physically assaulted the US Capitol building on the day and time that they were counting the electors for the presidential election? You think it was just some random day by chance and wasn’t ore-planned?

The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the Department of Justice Tuesday in ordering testimony from former chief of staff Mark Meadows and other top Trump White House staffers in the DOJ’s Jan. 6 investigation.

 

A sealed Tuesday order denying an emergency motion from former President Trump’s team came after a flurry of late night activity in the case.

 

Trump had appealed a sealed decision from then-D.C. District Court Judge Beryl Howell last week that rejected his claims of executive privilege over the officials, ordering them to testify.

 

Aide Stephen Miller, former Department of Homeland Security official Ken Cuccinelli, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, and former national security adviser Robert O’Brien were also all directed to testify in Howell’s decision, as were John McEntee, then-director of the Presidential Personnel Office, and Nick Luna, an assistant to Trump.

I never cease to be amazed at the hypocrisy of the Trump camp.   They flatly refuse to testify in the Jan 6 hearings and have done absolutely  everything in their power to fight subpoenas and court orders directing them to do so....while at the same time declaring the hearings a farce because Trump  has nobody there to defend him and present his side of the story.

 

The J6 committee has invited numerous members of Trump administration to testify and present his side of the story.....but they absolutely refuse to show up.

Going back 15-20 pages in both Jan6 threads makes for interesting reading. The fucking excuses, deflections, and poorly aged counter arguments from Trumpers are embarrassingly shallow and disingenuous; or just riddled with faulty reasoning/rationalizations.
