You do realize there is video evidence he was one of the first 30 through the door after it was broken into, right?  You do realize there is video and AUDIO evidence that his so called prayer was a profanity laced tirade, right?  You do realize he plead guilty to the charges, right?   You do realize Tucker Charlatan cherry picked through all the videos to find the 2 minutes of bullshit you're crowing about, right?   Do you care?  LOL, we all know the answer to that.

I’m sure he was guilty of something, but certainly not the excessive sentence he received.

Biden isn't the head of a cult that attempted to overturn a democratically-held election to keep their power structure and bruised egos intact.

Someone help me understand this:   For the past 2+ years, Republicans have been pounding the table and screaming at the top of their lungs about a stolen election, election fraud, fake/fraud

Long story ...   There was a sales rep I used to work with (who had a hilarious falling out with the company which basically showed he didn't know our product and would sell his other produc

you do realize the releases tapes show some of the convictions and sentences were bogus.  Appeals will be coming.   QAon Shamon is a great example.

Shamon voluntarily dismissed his direct appeal last year.

He would have to file a writ of habeas corpus at this point. Good luck with that.

Shortly after Jan 6,  a local news station interviewed a couple locals who were at the rally that day.

When asked if they entered the Capitol, they said’ “Oh no….we were at the rally and joined the march up Pennsylvania Ave.  But when we got to the Capitol and saw everything that was going down outside….we knew that wasn’t right.  We wanted no part of that….so we turned around and left before something  bad happened.

I have little sympathy for anyone who entered the Capitol  and feels like they’ve been targeted or treated unjustly.   Every one of them had the option of walking away when things turned ugly…. but they made a conscious decision to stay and join in the fun.  And now they’re being  held accountable for that decision.

But seriously though.. you do know there have been people convicted of seditious conspiracy due to Jan 6th and there are currently more leaders on trial right now, right?

Right. You can yell coup all you want. I guess you have to since collusion didn’t work. You lefties can have a great circle jerk yelling coup but the rest of the country has moved on. In fact, the Jan 6 hearings didn’t do much of anything except in your circle. Political theatre. But hey go ahead and keep arguing and yelling.  It beats defending Joe.

Got it, you think assaulting the US Capitol is just fine… so long as it’s your guys doing the insurrectioning…

This is troubling.

More than 1 in 4 Republicans now say that they approve of Trump supporters taking over the Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021, attacks, a new poll found.

A Economist-YouGov poll published on Wednesday found that 27 percent of Republicans strongly or somewhat approve of the rioters’ attempts on Jan. 6, 2021, to stop Congressional proceedings. The poll results also showed that 19 percent of Democrats also strongly or somewhat approved of the riot on the Capitol….

The whole coup BS. It was a stupid protest/riot but the idea of a threat to democracy was always BS and a lot of the so called violence was also bs.

You do know that people leading these "protests" have been convicted of seditious conspiracy, right? Others are currently on trial and others could very well be on trial for it afterwards.

You do know this, right? Serious question.

And just to help you out. Here is the legal definition of Seditious Conspiracy:

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

This is a legal fact.

And just to help you out a bit more... you do know that all of these people who are either being charged or have been convicted or are currently on trial have tried to blame Trump as their primary defense.

Trying to prevent the certification of votes as a means to stop an election and peaceful transfer of power.  Nothing coup(ish) about that at all.

At least we agree that it was a riot.
