Carter should be looking for a new job whenever the Titans season ends.

Was checking today.. if we lose out we could be as high as #10 or #11 pick. look at the bright side

16. Peter Skoronski OT Northwestern

41.Michael Mayer TE Notre Dame

47. Zay Flowers WR Boston College

72. Will McDonald IV EDGE Iowa State

158. Jayden Reed WR Michigan State

172.Tykee Smith S Georgia

190. Roschon Johnson RB Texas

206. Aki Ogunbiyi OG Texas A&M

Profootball draft I did last night. Was able to draft down in the first with the commanders who moved up from 16 to take Levis, gave us 47. Did one other small trade down but i couldnt remember.

Anyway love all these guys, Mayer was too much value to pass on. Reed is a sleeper for me, and no chance Zay will last that long but fun all the same.

Need way more OL than that.

Anthony Richardson looks significantly better than I thought he would. He is phenomenal at navigating the pocket; despite his mobility, he doesn't leave the pocket too early, but when he does, he is very adept at finding an open receiver or just getting rid of it; along these lines, he handles pressure relatively well, avoiding rushers, keeping his eyes downfield, and escaping the pocket/throwing the ball away when needed. His decision-making seems rather good, and he progresses through reads relatively well. He is obviously a phenomenal athlete with great size. He has a cannon for an arm but also flashes the ability to throw touch passes especially deep down the sideline.

He definitely has accuracy inconsistencies, but at least on film, it doesn't look like it's as bad as a 53.8% completion percentage would have you believe. His misses are also for the large part fairly decent (i.e. not missing high over the middle or throwing weak, interceptable passes toward the sidelines). His WRs also don't do him many favors; I will say that he does throw with high velocity on some short throws that make it tough to catch, but NFL WRs will naturally be better.

Outside of Levis's ~leadership~ and ~work ethic~, I don't see how he could be ranked higher than AR. They have the same strengths (+athleticism, size, arm strength), but Richardson is (at least imo) significantly better at working in a pocket and better at reading defenses. Richardson is more accurate than draft profiles would have you believe and Levis is less so. AR is also three years younger.

I personally would love to see Stroud stay in school. It would mean that there is a shot that next year the top QBs are Drake Maye, Caleb Williams, CJ Stroud, Quinn Ewers, and if he keeps improving Bo Nix. There are several others that could emerge and yes one or two will fall.

I’d love to see the Titans build the OL and weapons this year and take a QB next year

If Stroud stays in school, it makes the colts, or any other team, price to get the Bears top pick go way up.

In addition any team, including possibly the colt and texans, that fails to get the Bears pick would have to settle for Levis or Richardson.

Stroud would also join a strong and deep 2024 class.  Much better for the Titans if he stays in school.

Was listening to the Journey to the Draft podcast and they mentioned Princeton WR Andrei Iosivas as the 2023 version of Christian Watson, did think Iosivas doesn't have the length that Watson did.

Given Vrabel's comments about wanting speed he could be a guy to keep an eye on late day 2.
