Do you know how fucking stupid you sound spouting this shit right now?

And yes, this is larger than the Iraq War where we blitzed them with tech and troops. It's far beyond that at a fraction of the cost, only showing the outright superiority of the US Military, highlighting its laser focused ability inside of massive operational logistics. It's really fucking impressive.

For whatever shortcomings Biden has I'm glad he's overseeing this operation and not Obama or Trump.

bidens doing a great job and is uniquely suited for this…..but Obama should not be lumped in with Trump.

I’ll also add that Anthony Blinken has been groomed for this and is doing an amazing job.  He’s one of the people I am almost impressed with in this administration.  Maybe he’ll succeed Biden 👀

He wasn't lumped in with Trump. I could have went further back and said Bush as well. Biden is the right man for the job and not the orevious presidents.

Obama had his own problems with foreign policy, namely that he let Susan Rice and Clinton destroy a sovereign nation and then did very little while watching a tyrant backed by Russia destroy another one in Syria.

The contrast between Biden in Helsinki supporting NATO and Trump in the same city supporting Putin is 180 degrees.

It's clear that Trump and his supporters want to cut aid to Ukraine and surrender to Putin.

Great point.  At the risk of repeating myself, Trump's capitulation to Putin regarding our intel community and following up by agreeing to ally with Russia on cybersecurity "that's a great deal!" -- that was one of the worst days in American diplomacy, period.  Citizens in every western aligned country, everywhere around the globe for that matter knew that Trump's America had not only unraveled decades of its hard fought geopolitical hegemony, but in fact was now looking to Russia for global leadership.  Fucking Embarrassing when it happened , and now seeing Putin's power wane in 18 months it's ridiculous it ever happened in the first place.

I've never seen a more overmatched president in my lifetime.

This is because they support and admire Putin, and subscribe to his method of governance (Fascist Authoritarianism and Vast Corruption)

It's b/c Putin helps them get elected via funding and online trolls spouting propaganda. Putin was/is selling the narrative that democracy around the globe is waning and autocracy is on the rise. He already sold it to Xi in China. He's been of the opinion that democratic governments were slow and weak and autocracies could weather more problems and outlast them b/c once things got hard the people in democratic countries would put pressure on their leaders to cave where as in an autocracy, it would just be up to whether or not the leader wanted to cave.

It's the whole point of what's going on in Ukraine. Putin believes he can outlast democracies and he's trying to prove that he's right. He thinks he can use his propaganda and trolls to turn the populace against the war before he has to cave and retreat. It's why so many of the Russian fed right wing groups are now pushing for peace b/c peace for Russia would require they keep the territories they've taken. And that would be a win for Putin. It's why DeSantis is pushing for peace. It's why MTG is pushing for peace. And of course Trump. You can see the ones that are aligned w/ Putin.
