Believe it or not, I was thinking of a way to make a website or an app to warn local/regional churches of pastors, teachers, and staff that have had confirmed disciplinary issues at their previous churches for sexual harassment, predatory behavior, or sexual assault. Like something to go a step beyond a simple background check. Not all cases of abuse or predatory behavior are reported and pressing charges against these very same culprits are even rarer. The church thinks it's showing grace but it's just enabling the same behavior with new victims. The reason why I didn't pursue this app or website was because I knew the legal challenge of defamation would be a huge hurdle to overcome. But yes. You are correct. Even that approach would likely fail. So if the objective was regime change (it isn't - this admin does not care about the people of Iran), it is so far failing.
