They want what they're told to want. They look for direction and when that's given, they believe it. This is a very difficult concept for a lot of people apparently. Dan is a prime example. Iran has been waiting for this moment for 45 years and gaming it out for 20+. We then attacked neighboring countries and they have watched our military in live action. Then we did a test run on the 12 day bombing campaign showing them our exact timeline and strategy. Last year they further dispersed their readiness program for a decapitation strike and further entrenched. The notion this is a surprise to anyone with a functional concept of Iran's strategy of deference is simply said a fucking idiot, which includes the President, his sycophants, and his supporters.
