If GOP is losing red districts there’s is nothing he can really do to stop it He probably is just hoping that they hold onto the Senate. This type of destabilization is a part of their long term goal of carving out the dominant position in that region. They source their oil from from outside the Straights. They are of course affected by raising prices yet are simultaneously insulated with US Government revenue. This isn't a US war. This is an Israeli war with US hardware.
