Yep….  assuming this is true, it’s definitely a good thing.  
 

Hopefully this statement is actually based in reality and not another example of Trump projecting and presenting his fantasies as truth…or another situation where Trump contradicts himself by stating the exact opposite a day or two later.   But  for the time being, we’ll guardedly accept this as a good thing and a big step in the right direction. 

 

So if we can get Iran to agree to no nukes…AND  get them open up the Strait of Hormuz allowing international shipping traffic to move back and forth freely…. that would be pretty great, right?  
 

That would get us back to where we were under the Obama administration, before Trump pulled America out of the Iran nuclear deal and started mucking up the situation to get us where we are today.

There is an unconfirmed report at Axios that the US is paying Iran 20 billiion for their uranium.

The problem with buying Iran's enriched uranium is that they have a lot of uranium stockpiled that isn't enriched in addition to numerous uranium mines.

 

To try and ensure that iran doesn't continue to enrich, there has to be an inspection process in place which Obama and Kerry's deal had but Trump canceled.

Iranian authorities said that vessels transiting the strait must not be affiliated with the U.S. or Israel, including any cargo linked to the two countries.

 

Tehran also warned that it could close the Strait of Hormuz again if the U.S. continues its naval blockade, which Iranian officials say would violate the terms of the ceasefire.

I read a lot of right wing news outlets just to see what the idiots are saying...it's about 50-50 that I'll see it posted on the more right wing ones but others just don't bring it up anymore lol. At least from what I've seen.
