Any tips for dealing with the heat? How do you carry all that water around? She's worried because postman regularly drop dead because of the heat. Help a sister out! You have to drink water as soon as you get up, all day and even more importantly all the way until you go to bed. Also wear some kind of hat that covers your entire head area. I wear a mesh brimmed hat that air flows through but keeps the sun off me. I also wear a long sleeve under shirt designed for the summer. The better shape she's in the easier it is too. I carry a big lunch box that I can carry a lot of water in and also routinely stop and get large water bottles. Also eat lightly, I eat more salads/fruits(bananas) in extreme heat, cooler foods and nothing greasy or filling.
