Titans279
How about we see if AOC can even win a statewide election in NY before we draft her for President? I wouldn't really bet on her.

In fact, a large percentage of American Jews feel the same. WG53, and titanruss

I’d categorize her as the most obvious replacement for Bernie Sanders both in terms of ideology and charisma. I have my doubts that she would be able to win a presidential election. But the pro-worker ideology would appeal to lots of people who otherwise wouldn’t vote Democrat.

Even then I'm not a fan of hers. I think she is super smart and I like that she is willing to roll up her sleeves and fight Repulbican bullshit but I don't agree with her overall progresive policies. She's too left for my liking. I'd still vote for her in the general election though..

Popular Post Starkiller
I definitely think she could win a NY statewide election. People underestimate her as just some barista who won in a fluke because that was the story the media told. She is an incredibly smart and accomplished woman. She won a prize at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in microbiology as a senior in high school. She graduated college with honors with degrees in economics and international relations. And that’s aside from being elected twice to Congress. Bernie has plenty of charisma, it’s just not in the traditional mold. He has more “crusty grandpa” charisma.
tgo
To me, AOC is the heir apparent to lead the far left coalition and take the reigns from Sanders/Warren. Don't see her being president anytime soon though.

I don't know that charisma is the right word to describe Bernie's appeal to people.

Most of the people she endorsed lost in the recent primaries. Most of New York knows she stands for stupidity. WG53
