Ricky
Jackson is hurt, Butler is on IR, Sims was out, Casey has missed games. Lots of injuries have happened. Yes other teams have them too. But main thing we are still winning games.

You would think with Byard, Ryan, and Jackson wed be better but were getting shredded in the passing game. I dont get it. Imagine if we lose Ryan after this year too We're taking advantage of opponents' mistakes and keeping the long TD plays allowed to a minimum -- bend don't break. While I think we tend to go overly conservative on offense (during the late third quarter and on), we have the ability to convert TOs to points and/or make quick strikes for points. Special teams, aside from the placekicking game, playing very well. I think the team knows, at this point, it can't contain the opponent's passing game without major adjustments -- I'd be very interested to see if/how the scheme has changed since the early weeks of the season. In years past, losing this many impact players on one unit would have TEs eating us up in zone seams, and it's just not happening this year. I'm not knowledgeable to know why/how, but they're doing something very right on defense, despite the stats.
TitanHead
I think HOU, PITT, and BUFF will drop a couple of their remaining games. We just gotta handle biz

BudsOilers
Win out and the answer is easy. Division champs and a home playoff game. 10-6 (split with Texans and win everything else). The two teams as Scine mentioned are the Bills and Steelers as both of them have tiebreakers over the Titans. 9-7 - there are scenarios out there but honestly the odds are slim that will be good enough. At best, should the Broncos stumble the Texans and we win the following week, we’ll be in the lead for the division. OGAAT If they beat the Raiders and the Texans in the next two weeks they'll actually be in first because of the tie-breaker.

In that scenario, yes, Pittsburgh would have it. However, the Titans could have it over Pit as it depends on who the wins and losses are to for both the Titans and the Steelers. The easiest way to look it is the Titans would hold the tie-breaker over the Steelers if the Titans loss or one of the Titans losses is against NO, the Steelers loss or one of the Steelers losses is against BUF and the Steelers beat AZ. If all 3 of those things don't happen Pittsburgh would hold the tie-breaker.

A 3-way tie with Indy and Pittsburgh is bad for the Titans. Where it gets compelling for both Buffalo and the Steelers is the schedules and how that shakes out: The 9-3 Bills play Baltimore, @ Pittsburgh, @ New England, and the Jets. The 7-5 Steelers play @ Arizona, Buffalo, @ the Jets, and @ Baltimore.
freakingeek
Every game is essentially a playoff game for the Titans if we're going to get in. Injuries down the stretch notwithstanding I think it will be; Ravens 13-3 #1 seed Division winner Pats 12-4 #2 seed Division winner Chiefs 11-5 #3 seed Division winner Texans 11-5 #4 seed Division winner Bills 11-5 #5 seed Titans 10-6 #6 seed

I'm no Texans fan in any way shape or form, but winning a winner-take-all game in Houston is a very tall order and I didn't want to make my predictions with rose colored glasses on. Do I think it's possible? Yes I do. If this team keeps playing like it has been, anything is possible. But I approached my prediction like I was a betting man. Then that means you wouldn’t pick the titans to win a playoff game either because they’d be at HOU for the WC lol
