I'm somebody who tries to make it through every thread, but I just had to give up 8 pages ago; the one thread that shouldn't be a fucking Mariota debate just has to be hijacked by the same usual suspe

Those clips of Humphries are pretty friggin' impressive....very Derrick Mason-esque.   Really quick feet, great balance and body control....the type of receiver who will set up a defender and create s

This is the story of Taywan's life.

Interesting.  I still don’t believe that Tannehill wins the job in preseason.

And I'm excited that we have a significantly better backup QB and I’m also grateful that Vrabel/JRob aren’t tied to Mariota.  I trust that these guys are going to play whomever gives us the best chance to win.

Weren’t you telling us that the good QBs don’t have these kinds of issues in practice. Now you’re ducking your bullshit.

The good QBs don't have these problems consistently no. Pretty obvious.

You think this happens to Brady a lot in practice? Please explain.

Or are you trying to hang on something stupid like I said and meant "IT NEVER EVER HAPPENS TO TOP QBs" ?

I don't know why you guys want to paint me and others as irrational. Probably because you see the writing on the wall.

Honestly. I expect a star QB to be better than the competition in most practices.

Maybe be off a little. But never horrible.

It's always a bigger deal if a QB is bad than if a QB is good in practice.

I assume you are walking this back a little.

Can you show me where Brady is horrible in most practices?

I'm not walking back anything. If you think I would say a QB NEVER has a bad day then you're reaching. Anything is possible.

Still, it is always a bigger deal when a QB has a bad day than when a QB has a good day.

Brees has had 6 interception practices.  Brady bad ones. Rodgers dreadful ones. It happens to the best players.

In MOST practices. I said that pretty clearly in the previous sentence.

Is Brees, or Rodgers or Brady ... HORRIBLE IN MOST PRACTICES. Are they inconsistent in most practices? Or are they good to great in most practices with bad days sprinkled in?

If Mariota was consistently great in most practices with a bad day here or there it wouldn't be a problem. He isn't.

Mariota's been BAD in red zone situations in practice during the past few weeks or so.  Not just one or two.  But like several in a row, enough for one to form a conclusion.  Add in the bad preseason game and I don't know how you don't come away alarmed or the fact that his job (during the season) is in jeopardy.

"There is a tone in Tennessee that this staff just wants..." WTF does that mean.

They want a damn QB that will pull the trigger and probably lead them a little bit. Take control of the offense not wait for them to micromanage every snap and every play. Namely, a starting QB.

It's common sense. Mariota has been bad for years now, he's bad in practice(LOL comparing franchise QBs having bad practices) and he was bad in PSG1. They are not going to start him if there is a better option. Why would they?

The offense has sucked, the main reason is poor QB play. The coaches and Robinson would have to be idiots to keep starting MM, they aren't idiots.

The joint practices against the Pats will be big imo. If MM continues to be ineffective and RT plays well things could start to swing. Mid Day essentially said the same thing.
