Popular Post Carpy
That is actually a really big win by Washington. Nit only does it help us with Strength of Schedule with the Bucs, but it also guarantees us a top-3 pick even if we beat Indy next week woolfolksunclesuncle, Starkiller, MIKE75, and 2 others
JLocker10
Devastating loss for the Eagles. Pretty much kills their playoff chances. Can only polish a turd so much. Kelly's done a solid job getting Sanchez to play better what he's shown in the past but he still sucks. That int cost them the game.

N/A
So even if we beat Indy we are still guaranteed a top three pick due to Washington beating Philly correct????   I think so. Someone stated Jaguars would have better pick because Titans would have better division record, but I think with multiple teams tying, those kind of things are excluded.
Mythos27
It would be nice to root for my team again; specially against the Colts. No1TitansFan
Mythos27
@ Mythos27 ....No worries. That's not your team in Titans uniforms, they are used car salesman that we hired to finish the draft order. Fuck man. You just made me feel like when you're at a funeral and you see the body but you know your friend/loved one doesn't live there anymore...I'm gonna start drinking now. Carpy
I I think so. Someone stated Jaguars would have better pick because Titans would have better division record, but I think with multiple teams tying, those kind of things are excluded. Divisional records and conference records are only considered if Strength of Schedule is identical. With so many common opponents I would be surprised if Jacksonville could make up the difference to have a worse SoS than us.

scine09
I Divisional records and conference records are only considered if Strength of Schedule is identical. With so many common opponents I would be surprised if Jacksonville could make up the difference to have a worse SoS than us. There's 2 opponents that each team in a division play that aren't common. So if the Chiefs win out while SD loses out the Titans would gain a 2-game lead in SOS and would be cancelled out if the Jets were to win out and Miami were to lose out. Â KC and NYJ (Ten's opponents) would equate to a 14-18 record. SD and Mia (Jax's opponents) would also equate to a 14-18 record. KC 9-7, SD and Miami 7-9 and NYJ 5-11. Â The next tie-breaker is conference tie-breaker and the Titans record is better since one of Jax's wins was against the Giants. The worse record would get the nod so that's how the Jaguars pick ahead of the Titans. Â Since it appears that SD is going to lose tonight, that would bring it to 7 things needing to happen and 6 of the 7 would be outright upsets, some of them significant. Only KC over SD next week would be a win by a favorite. Â In other words, the chances of the Jaguars picking ahead of the Titans are EXTREMELY unlikely.
