  1. He's giving me Aaron Rodgers vibes. Great pocket presence, scrambles to throw. Has every throw and can give touch or low trajectory with amazing accuracy. Plus, he has the IT factor. You can't beat his stats either.
  2. The pre-draft process really ramps up this weekend with the commencement of the East/West Shrine practices on Saturday and the Senior Bowl practices on Tuesday. Below are a couple of videos with East/West Director Eric Galko and Senior Bowl Director Jim Nagy talking through some guys to watch. Specifically on the Senior Bowl these rosters are absolutely stacked with top 100 prospects.
  3. Would bring some speed to the WR group.
  4. I haven't watched any live games of Jordan Morgan except what's on YouTube have any of you followed this guy? Looks good and possibly a trade tackle to consider.
  5. So my quickly slapped together position tier list had me curious. How would you all rank the positions. For the sake of reducing arguments over what each person intended as far as draft resources for that position. Tier 1 top 3 Tier 2 top 15 Tier 3 first round Tier 4 2nd round Tier 5 mid round premium Tier 6 mid round Tier 7 late round Tier 1, QB, LT, Edge Tier 2 Cb1, WR1, DT, RT Tier 3 Elite TE/RB Tier 4 WR2, CB2/NB, Elite C Tier 5 C, S Tier 6 G, RB, TE, WR, CB Tier 7 K, P
  6. If it's a QB and I am assuming Williams is gone then I pray the team makes a play to move up for Drake Maye. I think he is special. If it's not a move for a QB then I can't help but get excited at the thought of either Brock Bowers at TE, Kool-Aid Mckinstry at CB, Chop Robinson at EDGE, or Emeka Egbuka at WR

  8. @titanskick8851thought I would leave this here for you lol
  9. Hoping it’s an early night for the Titans. Let’s go!
  10. Just pray there is at least one WR there worth taking…
  11. I had watched Levis very early in the process and liked him, the more it went on the more I didn't like him at all, so went back and watched him closely. Games watched: 2021: - Miss State -Louisville -Missou 2022 - Ole Miss - Florida - Miami (OH) Positives: - Effortless arm - Has shown the ability to go through progressions if given time - Some ability to make something out of nothing on broken plays, flipping the ball out etc, decently elusive despite size - Throws well on the run, accuracy and velocity - Vs Missou, good hard PA and NFL throw ability - Great game with legs vs Louisville (4 TD's). Good athlete on designed runs and physically imposing, as a runner he is a bit like Josh Allen and finishes runs (leaped a defender in this game) - The last part is probably a negative, doesn't protect himself at all, takes a lot of shots and fumbled trying to go over a defender in one of the games, needs to learn to slide - Gets hips flipped nicely on roll outs to his left, not really going to throw off platform moving left which is probably a good thing - Good example of this vs Mia (OH), great NFL throw deep to left sideline moving left, NFL throw - Clearly a pro offense. More shotgun than what the Titans play but clearly from the shanahan tree and plenty of hard PA looks that he will see here too -Will convert 3rd downs at the pro level. Good velocity and deciveness on short curles/slants etc, puts the ball in pretty good spots on those plays, plus the ability with his legs -Lots of YAC on tape. A lot of it is screens and pretty good receivers but also puts the ball in some good spots. (As an aside, Wandale Robinson shows up all over the place in 2021, awesome receiver) -Not afraid to throw into traffic, may be a negative but also will throw to covered receivers unlike Willis Negatives: - Very strange mechanics, can look good at times but then shotputts the ball or sidearms it. Inconsistent especially under pressure - Often sticks too long on the primary receiver, missed 2 wide open receivers vs Fla due to this and had a terrible pick in the RZ vs Mia (OH) - Puts the ball in harms way all the time, late on throws an issue, could be an INT machine early - Scattershot accuracy. vs Miss state had a bad underthrow on a pick, overthrow on a wide open WR, pick dropped. Rough game, 3rd pick completely missed a defender underneath a receiver - Very poor deep ball. Over or underthrows all the time. Had one nice deep TD vs Florida but was also a great catch by the WR - Doesn't recognise pressure at all at times, in 2021 showed some ability to slide and keep eyes downfield but was much worse in 2022, dropped eyes far too often and isn't quick enough to not take the sack in those situations. Terrible in this aspect vs Ole Miss in 2022 and much worse that season in general. - Accuracy over the middle in General is poor. Very often behind receiver, also a few throws high and low but throwing behind receivers on crossers is a big issue NFL Comp: Hate comps but people seem to like them. I have seen Locker comps, but he's way more confident and not as bad in the pocket. Honestly the name that kept coming to my mind was Daniel Jones. As a runner plus poor TD production, throws behind receivers etc, it reminded me of pro Daniel Jones Overall, he's an OK QB prospect imo. I think he's coming in to an offense that should suit his strengths, but the accuracy issues and inconsistency in the pocket lead me to believe they'll be picking a QB again in a couple years *Note: All games above are on youtube for anyone interested in disagreeing with me

  13. 2023 QB draft analysis: all based on highlight tapes (they can be very telling) also, a few sec QBs analysis are based on prior knowledge. Bryce young- This is my guy as a bama fan. He’s basically Tua but more of a playmaker, where Tua is a passer. Bryce is also much more durable. What makes Bryce so dangerous is unrealistic football intelligence. He knows where the los is and can checkdown just before crossing the line turning any pass play into a makeshift rpo. He’s also the most clutch QB I’ve ever seen play. (and his playbook knowledge of where his guys are is crazy) This is a guy you trade multiple picks to move up and get. Hendon Hooker- I like Hendon hooker. He’s got what it takes and having the level of success in the sec that he had while not at bama, ga, or lsu is impressive. It also speaks volumes that he built on an impressive 2021. His accuracy is not quite elite. I’m pretty sure he could’ve had more touchdowns against bama if memory serves correct. If you draft him, I’m not sure he’d be better as a rookie than Dobbs is now. CJ Stroud- Size, arm, accuracy, and placement. There are no signs that point to him not being a star, but….He’s not the only buckeye QB to look good at an overwhelming OSU team against the B1G but He did play well in the post season. The big concern with him is this…. He may be staring guys down because his Overwhelming line and unfair WR corps allow him to just stand comfortably flat footed and throw. I’m sure an OSU die hard would make a great case for him but without seeing him play a full game, I believe you could see a real Trent Richardson scenario. He’s talented enough but he still has to prove he can create something at least to Malik Willis level before I’d be thrilled. OSU is just makes it too easy Will Levis- I believe what we have here is excitement over a qb with NFL size performing well with a bottom feeder SEC team. Put him on an Ole Miss or Florida and he’d be hyped but not top5 hyped. Arm is not too strong either. QB’s are hard to predict but I question the legitimacy of this guy. He’ll fall in this draft. Anthony Richardson: Another big body and big arm. He’s earned the reputation as being a big time dual threat but the tape shows a more average run ability with the top end speed of a guy you’d expect that can earn a D1 scholarship. If you want a guy who can throw 60 passes a game to mcmath and pull it down occasionally then he’s a good choice. I’ll pass on this guy. McKee: Kid throws some dots just where they need to be, but his arm is just not NFL worthy. He throws some sloppy looking softball and his a little bit of a statue. Also, you look at the score of the games he’s making plays in and that’ll scare you. You’d expect a guy who could make it at te next level would have his team scoring more points….Yikes Jake haener: Haener is actually pretty good and has underrated arm strength. His ball placement is nice and his completion percentage is impressive. Watch his tape and you’ll see he’s just got a little more “it” factor than others. He’s a guy you’d love to get between rounds 4-6. Stetson Bennett- He actually played well and could be was somewhat of a dynamic playmaker in 2022. He showed a lot more confidence than in 21 as well. However, he’s not an NFL QB. Georgia didn’t have an amazing WR corps but he is a beneficiary of an overwhelming team against inferior opponents (yes I know it’s sec) and still managed to be kinda mediocre. He’s about a smaller Logan woodside at best. Jaren Hall- He’s a lot like haener. He can improvise a little and can place some good balls. His legs will be limited a lot more in the nfl. He seems like more of a college playmaker than nfl QB. I think haener is a better choice. He wouldn’t be a terrible pick late in the draft. Max Dugan- He’s definitely dynamic but maybe limited in the traditional QB role. I think he’s a little underrated but he could have an inflated name from being apart of a highflying TCU offense in the weak big12. He’s worth a pick imo especially if you can get him round 5 even.
  14. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTxvrIAsXfDvU_pIYPJm5C8lCPTN3lXpTWmVXjdW8pGajsJy2wG1-5As6gB9G94YI0mViRyBcNh4Njo/pubhtml Scale. 1st Round [Consensus 1st Pick] - Generational. Consensus top pick regardless of position. Most drafts DO NOT have this level of player (Myles Garrett, Calvin Johnson, Andrew Luck). 1st Round [Top 8] - Immediate Starter that positively impacts team performance in first year . Low Risk with All Pro Potential. Will have 5th year option picked up and should become a second contract type player. 1st Round [Mid] - Eventual Starter within first year of contract, immediate contributor. Should develop into a consistent player and longterm starter. Likely will have 5th year option picked up. 1st Round [Late] - Probable starter within first two years of contract. "Boom or Bust" prospect. Usually an "elite traits, low production or low skill" type player. 2nd Round [Early] - Should develop into a starting level player by the end of his second season. No worse than an immediate backup at his position and will significantly contribute as a rookie. Likely missing trait or skill that prevents consensus 1st round consideration, but relatively a safe/dependable prospect. 2nd Round [Late] - Will contribute as a rookie and develop into a starter at some point in NFL career. Should receive second contract as a starter for either original drafting team or another team. Likely will be an average level starter or high level situational/role player. 3rd Round - Developmental with outside chance of contributing in rookie season. Hopeful starter by the end of first contract. Either has very limiting skillset/traits or is an incredibly raw prospect with very good upside. 4th Round- Developmental, very scheme specific player. Usually a raw traits prospect who has potential to develop into dependable backup/situational player. 5th Round- Developmental backup/depth player. Expectation of eventually becoming a starting level player is very low (excluding kickers/punters). Should have special teams ability/potential, and should make 53-man roster. 6th Round - Special Teams/Back End of Roster type player. Likely has great college production but lacks many desirable traits/skills, played against lower competition, or dropped due to medical, legal, or character concerns. Little to no risk to team if player does not develop or make roster. 7th Round- Lacks a lot of necessary traits to go any higher, but possesses skill, character, or trait that makes him a favorite of a team's scout or positional coach. Not expected to make roster, but should make practice squad.
  15. We really didn’t have a thread for general draft discussion so here it is. Wright getting pushed all the way to the top 10 now is pretty wild. I like him no doubt but it’s still PJJ and Jones first for me.
  16. 2023 - Panthers - TBD 2021 - 49ers - Trey Lance 2021 - Bears - Justin Fields 2020 - Packers - Jordan Love 2018 - Jets - Sam Darnold 2018 - Bills - Josh Allen 2018 - Cardinals - Josh Rosen 2018 - Ravens - Lamar Jackson 2017 - Bears - Mitch Trubisky 2017 - Chiefs - Patrick Mahomes 2017 - Texans - Deshaun Watson 2016 - Rams - Jared Goff 2016 - Eagles - Carson Wentz 2016 - Broncos - Paxton Lynch 2014 - Browns - Johnny Manziel 2014 - Vikings - Teddy Bridgewater 2012 - Redskins - RG3 2011 - Jaguars - Blaine Gabbert 2010 - Broncos - Tim Tebow 2009 - Jets - Mark Sanchez 2009 - Buccs - Josh Freeman 2008 - Ravens - Joe Flacco 2007 - Browns - Brady Quinn 2006 - Broncos - Jay Cutler 2005 - Washington - Jason Campbell 2004 - Bills - J.P. 17. 2023 WR draft analysis based on highlight tapes. All draftable WR’s are good and a lot of them blend in together. Here’s my quick instinct takes of the top names. Remember, there have been players in the past who were reported as being better than other players and were not. JSN: Reminds me a lot of olave and Garret Wilson before him. He’s good but there isn’t anything about him that stands out. He seems to be a huge risk on if he’s just a great college WR or a guy who can step his game up for the NFL. Don’t let the fact that he had high production at a blue blood school fool you into believing he’s a for sure thing. Boutte: A superstar since highschool. He’s built a tad than a skinny slot guy. What’s good about Boutte is he’s been a 1st round level guy on an sec offense that hasn’t been great. They did have success as a team in 22 but Boutte was the only thing they had going for them for a minute. Hes a less physical treylon Burks imo. Superb athlete. Addison: A highly sought after transfer WR that USC landed over Alabama. The comparison I’d give is Devonta smith. Looks and plays a lot like him. I know it’s lofty but he’s a lot more athletic and fluid than jsn. Q Johnston: He’s a good playmaker but not a sure thing. He’s tall and can make moves after the catch. He’ll have to step his game up for the NFL. He’s not a fats but he’s electric enough for a bigger guy. However, I can see him getting muffled by professionals. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him become Kevin white. Flowers: Really dangerous after the catch and fast as lightening. Size limits him and the big question around guys like him is can he get open? He’s a 2nd round pick imo. Downs: Very similar to njigba. He’s a solid slot guy but possibly overrated. There’s nothing about him that jumps out at you. His tape makes it look a little too easy but not in a good way. Is he an above average athlete playing in a high octane offense against bad defenses or is he actually great? Tank Dell: Very similar to flowers. More of a north and south runner before and after the catch than flowers but their game is hard to tell apart. Like some others that people think are 1st round can’t miss prospects, I think he’ll have to develop into more than a guy who uses speed and athletics to get open Parker Washington: This guy is good. He’s not going to scare anybody with speed, but he has all the skill and playmaking ability to be a star. He shows the flashiest plays of anybody in this class I’ve seen so far. He’s a 1st round talent imo Jalin Hyatt: Hate him as a bama fan, but he’s a great player. Not only is he fast, but his release and acceleration are scary. He’s built very athletic and not too slim. He might be limited to just a vertical role but he’s what everybody overhyped the Colt’s Pierce to be. He’s got quez Watkins type potential Rice: He’s a good possession guy but he’s just not an electric playmaker. He’s a mid round guy who will get taken too early Tillman: From the highlights I saw, I believe Hyatt is a more exciting athlete and Tillman is a more developed WR at the moment. This guy is a round 4 steal. The question is can he find his bread and butter that will make him productive in the league Moreno-cropper: A slot guy who can make you miss. He’s more playmaker than over the top speed. He kinda reminds me of last years Tolbert from south Alabama. I wouldn’t be too excited over him
  18. Not that the Combine is over and Pro Days are in full swing, just wanted a place to put news and things related to the Titans at the various Pro Days. Interesting to see them working Johnson out at WR a bit. Making sure the next big RB they have can catch the ball well in space?
  19. Not saying Landry is a bad player, but for what he brings to the table, $57 million guaranteed is ridiculous. You've got to start prioritizing drafting WR talent because it's ridiculous to pay a guy that much for pedestrian to at best slightly above average play. Which is why you draft em like RBs. any of these mid round WRs can do what guys like Landry and Richard Matthews provide. For a fraction. Most full time starters can get you a 900 yard seasons or so, and sometimes you hit on one who puts it all together. Let em fight for it like RBs do, too. No way we pay Matthews a new contract. This is why you draft guys like Taylor and Sharpe, to hedge your bets someone becomes a quality starter before the time the rookie contract runs out, and you keep a guy because he's cheap back roster depth or too great a talent to let go. Get rid of the rest.
  20. This should be the last one until the week before the draft. Obviously the looming impacts to the draft is what Green Bay gets back from New York for Aaron Rodgers, and then of course whatever happens with Lamar Jackson. Indianapolis, Houston, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Baltimore could all be potential places where he ends up and that would obviously have major ramifications on the outlook of the draft. Leave your thoughts. 2023 NFL Draft 1. Carolina Panthers - QB Bryce Young, Alabama Carolina traded up to have the benefit of being able to debate between Young and Stroud. There has been a lot of chatter as of late that seems to indicate that Young has a lot of fans in Carolina to include owner, David Tepper. I know that preconceived notion that head coach Reich prefers bigger QBs, but he's also never had the opportunity to coach a player as small as Young. In the end, Carolina is confident that it has a strong offensive line and is comfortable taking owner preferred Bryce Young. Potential Option: CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson 2. Houston Texans - QB CJ Stroud, Ohio St. Bryce Young is Houston's preferred choice, and most reports seem to back up this prevailing belief. I do think they consider Will Anderson here to a real significant level of seriousness, but the idea of taking Anderson and hoping to trade back up using their second 1st round pick to get a QB may be too complicated of a gamble to risk not coming away with a top QB. Instead, they will find more than enough things to like about Stroud. Potential Option: Will Anderson, Bryce Young 3. Arizona Cardinals - ED Will Anderson, Alabama There is a lot of presumption that Arizona will move off this pick, but I just don't think the market will be there for them after Young and Stroud go in the top two. If that happens, then the appetite to move up by other teams will be dampened. Arizona is in no position to turn down elite talent anyway, which is what Anderson is. New GM Ossenfort, plays it smart and takes the defensive impact player and culture changer. Potential Option: Trade Down 4. Indianapolis Colts - QB Anthony Richardson, Florida Chris Ballard is the only GM with a well-reported preferred mold of QB. Indianapolis is going to be comfortable standing pat at #4 because they will be okay with either Stroud, Richardson, or Levis. They will obviously have their own ranking, but there will not be so much of a wide margin between ranking of the top QBs to the point that they feel compelled to move up. Potential Option: Will Levis, Trade Up 5. Seattle Seahawks- ED Tyree Wilson, Texas Tech Tyree Wilson, even with the current foot injury, is one of the elite defensive talents in this draft along Anderson and Jalen Carter. I think its very possible that he could even go as high as number three. His length and well developed body leads evaluators to conclude he has incredible upside, and he's the type of versatile player that can fit into Seattle's ever-changing multi front defense. Potential Option: Trade Down, Anthony Richardson 6. Detroit Lions - CB Christian Gonzalez, Oregon I went back and forth with Bijan Robinson going here, but ultimately I think Detroit will project that the top three corners will likely be gone by the 18th pick which tips the scale in the favor of taking Gonzalez here. I know that the team has signed Emmanuel Mosely and Cam Sutton, but Mostly is on a one year contact coming off an ACL injury, while Sutton is more of a high level #2 CB and isn't reason enough to not take a potential franchise CB, who Detroit now has the advantage to patiently develop if necessary. Potential Option: Bijan Robinson, Joey Porter, Jalen Carter 7. Pittsburgh Steelers (f/ LV)* - OT Broderick Jones, Georgia Pittsburgh has paid a huge amount of attention to all of the top offensive tackles in this year's draft, and seemed very interested in tackle Broderick Jones at the UGA Pro Day. Steelers do a good job of not tipping which player they like, but normally are an easy read in figuring what they deem as top positional priorities. Understanding, that they will likely lose out on one of the top offensive tackles staying at 17, they move up 10 spots to grab the best tackle in the draft. Potential Option: (LV) Paris Johnson, (LV) Devon Witherspoon 8. Atlanta Falcons - RB Bijan Robinson, Texas Atlanta may be in a position to where they aren't desperate to take any particular position even with a top 10 pick unless its one of the top two edge defenders. There may be some consideration for Van Ness here, but I think Atlanta trusts there will be talent at the edge position when they pick again in round 2. Drafting Bijan, they guarantee themselves who many consider the best overall prospect in the draft, and will choose to surround QB Ridder with rare elite talents. Potential Option: Lukas Van Ness 9. Chicago Bears - OT Paris Johnson, Ohio St. Chicago has the opportunity to take Jalen Carter who many suspected they would want to take if they traded down from #1, with the idea it would have to be within the top 5 to do so. However, Chicago surprisingly did not make any moves at OT during the first waves of free agency and it appears prime to address that position with this pick. In Johnson, they get a clean prospect who'll be able to develop into the blindside protector for fellow OSU alum, Justin Fields. Potential Option: Broderick Johnson, Jalen Carter 10. Philadelphia Eagles - CB Devon Witherspoon, Illinois Eagles re-signed Slay and Bradberry to what are what essentially team friendly two year deals. Slay has played at a high level, but at age 32 there has to be some forward thinking by Philadelphia. The opportunity to get a high level CB prospect and get the opportunity to develop him before relying on him as a starter is a luxury Philadelphia can afford. Potential Option: Jalen Carter, Joey Porter, Lukas Van Ness 11. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (f/ TEN)* - QB Will Levis, Kentucky Tennessee is opened to move down because their board begins swell in terms of comparable talent available that Tennessee would be interested in drafting. Fortunately, they could get some activity as teams such as Tampa, Washington, Minnesota, and Baltimore looking to move up to get Levis. Tennessee goes with Tampa Bay who gives up two top 50 picks to move up 8 spots and get a QB they hope can shorten the transition from the Brady Era. Potential Option: (TEN) Will Levis, (TEN) Jalin Hyatt, (TEN) Peter Skoronski 12. Houston Texans - ED Lukas Van Ness, Iowa Texans follow up drafting the most important position on the offensive side of the ball by selecting the most important position on the defensive side. In Van Ness, the Texans get a player with the physical profile and athleticism that will remind many of the last great defensive player Houston had, JJ Watt. Potential Option: Jaxson Smith-Nijiba, Jalen Carter 13. Green Bay Packers (f/ NYJ)* - OG Peter Skoronski, Northwestern Green Bay needs a WR, but historically does not view WRs as a position worth spending very high picks on. They decide to continue to shore up and inject youth into their offensive line by taking the hometown favorite kid. Skoronski projects as a offensive guard and will likely carve out a potentially 10+ All Pro career at that position, with an outside chance of being an option at left tackle for when GB finally moves on from current LT, Bahktari. Potential Options: Brian Branch, Jaxson Smith Njigba 14. Detroit Lions (f/ NE)* - DT Jalen Carter, Georgia Carter sees a fall obviously due to questions about his commitment to the game which now seems to have evidence of a pattern (stamina issues during the season and a poor showing at a Pro Day). Still, he's too talented for him to fall off very many teams boards and Detroit likely considers him at 6. Armed with a second pick in the middle of the 1st round, Detroit makes the decision to go grab one of the top prospects in this draft and will pair him with last year's stud Aiden Hutchinson. Potential Option: (NE) Darnell Wright 15. Green Bay Packers - DB Brian Branch, Alabama Branch may not be every team's cup of tea, and his draft range is wide depending on how teams expect to use him. For Green Bay, the need at safety is major and Branch provides them a player ready to step in and start right away. Too much stock may have be put into his 4.58 forty time, but beyond that his testing numbers were great. Additionally, he's a player that can move all around the secondary with the position versatility that teams value more and more. Potential Option: Jaxson Smith Njigba, Trade Down 16. Washington Commanders - CB Joey Porter Jr., Penn St. Son of the Pro Bowl LB, Joey Jr. has the ideal length and size that teams now consider prototypical. He has some things to clean up in his technique as he can be overly aggressive and a tick behind in reaction, but he's appealing to the point where some teams likely consider him the best CB in this draft. Potential Option: OCyrus Torrence 17. Las Vegas Raiders (f/ PIT) - CB Julius Brents, Kansas St. Vegas picks up some extra picks and comes away with the monster size CB prospect who they hope develops into another version of Taliq Woolen of the Seattle Seahawks. Standing at 6'4, Brents backed a superb showing at the Senior Bowl with just as impressive of a showing at the Combine where he showcased elite agility in drills. He has the scheme versatility that makes him enticing to the point where he'll go higher than expected. Potential Option: Darnell Wright, Calijah Kancey 18. New England Patriots (f/ DET) - OT Darnell Wright, Tennessee There is no way New England can come away from this draft without taking a tackle in the first two rounds. They swung in miss on some guys in free agency and the signing of Riley Reiff is absolutely an insurance signing. With Wright, the Patriots get a well rounded offensive tackle who's best play has come on the right side where he has the chance to be an All Pro player, but still offers some potential room to develop into a longterm option at left tackle. Potential Option: Anton Harrison, Cam Smith, Nolan Smith 19. Tennessee Titans (f/ TB) - WR Jalin Hyatt, Tennessee In a similar fashion to New England's predicament, but just at the WR position, there is no way Tennessee can leave the first two rounds with out addressing the WR position. It is the team's top glaring need, and Tennessee trades down to an area in the draft where the value of the pick meets the value of the level of WR prospect. Vrabel declared the team needs speed and Hyatt provides that with very reliable catching ability. Potential Option: Jaxson Smith Njigba, (TB) Anton Harrison, (TB) Darnell Wright 20. Houston Texans (f/ SEA)* - WR Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Ohio St. What way to make your new QB feel more comfortable than by bringing in his favorite college WR along with him. JSN has a chance to be the top receiver taken due to his extreme polish and elite quickness. He's a player with a very high floor, and at a minimum he will be a player that will be productive and reliable from the slot. Similar to what we saw in Cincinnati, there is value with being able to skip process of developing continuity between QB and WR. Potential Option: Jalin Hyatt, (SEA) Ocyrus Torrence, (SEA) John Michael Schmitz 21. Los Angeles Chargers - ED Nolan Smith, Georgia Even with the Chargers holding on to Khalil Mack for one more year, the Chargers suffered from lack of depth behind Bosa and Mack, and could use a third option to rotate in. Furthermore, the restructure of Mack's contract essentially means this will be his final year in LA and having his replacement on the roster already is ideal. Smith as a player, also provides versatility to play some ILB which means LA can have three talented pass rushers on the field at the same time. Potential Option: Jalin Hyatt, Myles Murphy, Michael Mayer 22. Baltimore Ravens - WR Quentin Johnston, TCU Regardless of Lamar Jackson's status with the team, the Ravens absolutely have to bring a weapon on the outside to open up the offense. Johnston has some troubling habits such as failure to high point the ball, catching with his hands, and lack of route running skill to gain separation. Despite that he's a monster with the ball in his hands and has great speed that likely makes his early contribution as a gameplan playmaker. Potential Option: Deonte Banks, Zay Flowers 23. Minnesota Vikings - DT Calijah Kancey, Pittsburgh Interesting that the team that HOFer John Randle played for takes a guy that many may want to compare to him. The loss of Dalvin Tomilison to Cleveland was a huge blow to the Vikings defensive front, and the Vikings only have rotational and backup level defensive tackles currently on their roster. Getting Kancey here is a huge win for Minnesota even if it comes with questions about his ability in run defense due to his unique size. Potential Option: Keelo Ringo, Deonte Banks 24. Jacksonville Jaguars - ED Myles Murphy, Clemson Losing Arden Key was an unexpected loss for Jacksonville and one that many feel was an underrated loss for the team. Fortunately for Jacksonville they go back to the pipeline of Clemson and take Myles Murphy who many would compare to their 2022 1st overall pick, Travon Walker. Myles Murphy had a really good career, but never seem to put it all together to become that havoc edge rusher many still believe he can be. This has Trent Baalke written all over it. Potential Option: Cam Smith, Emmanuel Forbes, Keion White 25. New York Giants - CB Cam Smith, South Carolina The early run on cornerbacks continue as the Giants decide that the value is not there to take a wide receiver this early and instead choose to grab a player they figure will become an eventual starter. At 6'1, with great foot speed, and smooth hips Smith is battle tested and has the ability to play in a man-to-man scheme or zone scheme. Potential Option: Zay Flowers, John Michael Schmitz 26. Indianapolis Colts (f/ DAL)* - LT Anton Harrison, Oklahoma Indianapolis usually doesn't make trades up into the draft but with Harrison within striking distance they will certainly be active into taking advantage of the opportunity to finish rebuilding their offensive line. Last year's draft pick Raimann was serviceable, but may have a real future as an offensive guard. Harrison is a very polished pass protector, but lacks the trait to finish and has concerns about if he is a soft edge for aggressive pass rushers. Potential Option: (DAL) Julius Brents, (DAL) Michael Mayer 27. Buffalo Bills - IOL O'Cyrus Torrence, Florida Getting Torrence at this point is a big get for Buffalo who will look to immediately start the big offensive lineman out of Florida who consistently displayed dominance, power, and quick reaction in a 6'5 330lb frame. He fits the mold of the offensive lineman that Buffalo likes and allows them to replace Roger Saffold who suffered from injuries and inconsistency. Potential Option: Josh Downs, Antonio Johnson 28. Cincinnati Bengals - TE Michael Mayer, Notre Dame Cincinnati has a knack for not trying to get too creative with their top selections, and take players who usually come from big programs, have experience in big games, and have a ton of production. Additionally, they like players who possess a refined skillset. For that reason, Mayer (who is also a local product) is an easy choice for the Bengals as they address the need they have at the tight end position and provides another option for Joe Burrow. Potential Option: Dawand Jones, Keelo Ringo 29. New Orleans Saints - ED Keion White, Georgia Tech Saints desperately must address their defensive line, especially after losing three starters this offseason. Fortunately, this draft has a great group of defensive end/edge defenders. There is some debate here go with McDonald, but historically New Orleans likes their defensive ends to be bigger. Keion White also provides ability to play across the defensive line, but will likely have the opportunity to start opposite of Cam Jordan. Potential Option: Darnell Washington, Will McDonald, Zay Flowers 30. Philadelphia Eagles - ED Will McDonald, Iowa St. No team sits in a better position than Philadelphia who has maybe the most top to bottom talented roster in the NFL, sits in a decent place in terms of cap health (of course the looming Hurts extension will impact that), and has two 1st round picks to replace aging and costly talent they have or will have to let go. Philly considers Bryan Bresee here, but opts for McDonald who will be able to contribute as a rookie as a talented pass rusher. Potential Option: Keion White, Bryan Bresee, Antonio Johnson 31. Kansas City Chiefs - RT Dawand Jones, Ohio St. With the final pick of the 1st Round, Kansas City finishes its remodel of its offensive line as it continues to prioritize the protection of the best player in the NFL, Pat Mahomes. Jones does not necessarily need to start as a rookie although he's more than capable, but KC trusts current slated starter Lucas Niang and will allow him and Jones to compete. Jones, is about the size of of Zion Williamson, with amazing athleticism that Reid will not be able to let go by. Potential Option: Josh Downs, Will McDonald 2nd Round 32. Pittsburgh Steelers - LB Drew Sanders, Arkansas 33. Seattle Seahawks (f/ HOU) - OC John Michael Schmitz, Minnesota 34. Arizona Cardinals - CB Keelo Ringo, Georgia 35. Dallas Cowboys (f/ IND) - CB Deonte Banks, Maryland 36. Chicago Bears (f/ LAR)* - DT Bryan Bresee, Clemson 37. Seattle Seahawks - DT Mazi Smith, Michigan 38. Las Vegas Raiders - QB Hendon Hooker, Tennessee 39. Carolina Panthers - WR Josh Downs, North Carolina 40. New Orleans Saints - TE Darnell Washington, Georgia 41. Tennessee Titans - OL Matthew Bergeron, Syracuse 42. New York Jets - S Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M 43. Los Angeles Chargers (f/ NYJ)* - TE Dalton Kincaid, Utah 44. Atlanta Falcons - ED Derick Hall, Auburn 45. Green Bay Packers- WR Zay Flowers, Boston College 46. New England Patriots - CB Emmanuel Forbes, Mississippi St. 47. Washington Commanders - OG Steve Avila, TCU 48. Detroit Lions - RB Jahmry Gibbs, Alabama 49. Las Vegas Raiders (f/ PIT) - DT Keeanu Benton, Wisconsin 50. Tennessee Titans (f/ TB) - LB Trenton Simpson, Clemson 51. Miami Dolphins - OL Cody Mauch, North Dakota St. 52. Seattle Seahawks - WR Jordan Addison, USC 53. Los Angeles Rams (f/ CHI) - ED Byron Young, Tennessee 54. New York Jets (f/ LAC) - OT Tyler Steen, Alabama 55. Detroit Lions - LB Daiyan Henley, Washington St. 56. Jacksonville Jaguars - CB DJ Turner, Michigan 57. New York Giants - IOL Joe Tippmann, Wisconsin 58. Dallas Cowboys - TE Luke Musgrave, Oregon St. 59. Denver Broncos (f/ BUF)* - ED BJ Ojulari, LSU 60. Cincinnati Bengals - DE Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Kansas St. 61. Chicago Bears - ED Adetomiwa Adebawore, Northwestern 62. Philadelphia Eagles - DT Siaki Ika, Baylor 63. Kansas City Chiefs - WR Cedric Tillman, Tennessee * New York (J) trades 1.13, a 2024 4th round pick, and WR Corey Davis to Green Bay for QB Aaron Rodgers. * Pittsburgh trades 1.17, 2.49, 3.80 to Las Vegas for 1.07 and 4.109. * Tampa trades 1.19, 2.50, and a 2024 4th round pick to Tennessee for 1.11. * Detroit trades 1.18 and 3.81 to New England for 1.14. * Houston trades 2.33 and 3.65 to Seattle for 1.20. * Indianapolis trades 2.35 and 3.79 to Dallas for 1.26. * Chicago trades 2.53, 4.103, and a 2024 3rd round pick to Los Angeles (R) for 2.36. * Los Angeles (C) trades 2.54 and 3.85 to New York (J) for 2.43. * Denver trades 3.67, 6.195 and a 2024 4th round pick to Buffalo for 2.59. Titans Picks 1.19 - Jalin Hyatt, Wideout, University of Tennessee Hyatt is a graceful, smooth athlete with top tier speed that can outrun the top cover of a defense. He has little experience facing the press, but has the traits to develop into scheme dynamic receiver. By 2025, Tennessee should be very strong at the WR position with Burks and Hyatt. 2.41 - Matthew Bergeron, Offensive Lineman, Syracuse University A lot of draft sites have him down as a offensive tackle, but I think he projects best to guard and expect that to be his position especially if he's drafted by Tennessee. He's got great size without sacrificing quickness and body control. Similar to a young Roger Saffold. Obviously, offers positional versatility. 2.50 - Trent Simpson, Inside Linebacker, Clemson University A sneaky need, Tennessee is showing interest in the ILB position. Even with the signing of Al-Shaair, this position is not squared away especially if you think we are ready to rely on Monty Rice who has missed a ton of time. Simpson represents the type of 3-level linebacker Vrabel has been pursuing for 2-3 years. 3.72 - Isaiah McGuire, Edge Defender, University of Missouri McGuire is a big (6'5, 270lb) edge who shows the ability to get up field and makes plays in the backfield. He possesses tools that Tennessee likes to see from its edge rushers, to include power and ability to set the edge. Struggles with inconsistency, but in the 3rd round he's an ideal prospect to take at this point. 5.147 - Payne Durham, Tight End, Purdue University Durham had a great showing during Senior Bowl week. Standing at 6'6, 260lbs he's hard to miss and as expected he is a strong plus run blocker which is how he will be able to contribute as a rookie. Eventually he will be given the opportunity to develop into a red zone threat where he can high point passes. 6.186 - Roschon Johnson, Runningback, University of Texas In most drafts, Johnson is a 3rd-4th round guy, but this year's draft so incredibly deep at running back that teams will probably be able to find quality running backs even in the 7th round. Johnson isn't the fastest and goes down more easily than youll like but he's great in pass pro, receiving, and breaks tackle. 7.228 - Ronnie Hickman, Safety, Ohio State University Tennessee finishes it out by taking the safety out of Vrabel's alma mater. Hickman has good size, with no real standout athletic marks. He's not a good tackler, but has shown potential of being a possible TE eraser. Obviously he'll make his money as a special teamer early on. ----- For the masses...
  21. For those of you who use NFL.com for their comprehensive database of NFL draft prospects and scouting reports, they seem to have the profiles for the top prospects available. Edit: Here https://www.nfl.com/combine/tracker/participants/
  22. Round 1, Pick 11 - Johnson/Jones/Harrison - Left Tackle Obvious selection, take your preferred prospect here. I do not feel like any of them are "blue chip" prospects heading into the NFL draft. All three come in with an area to improve on, and the order in which they will be drafted will be team preference. I strongly feel someone will jump us to take one of these tackles. Round 2, Pick 41 - Flowers/Mingo/Rice - Wide Receiver Another obvious selection, and again take your preferred prospect here. This will be the sweet spot for us to take a wide receiver, and another area that we need to address sooner rather than later. At the moment no prospect is jumping out to me to pencil one in, but it's imperative we address the position early. Round 3, Pick 72 - Drew Sanders - ILB This is where I get controversial, as this could easily be where we select a guard/center prospect. However, with Long as a pending free agent and the likely release of Cunningham will need to address the ILB position. One of my favorite ILB players in the entire draft, I think he's as complete of a ILB as you can get. Strong in-between the tackles, very good pass-rusher, and has the ability to drop in coverage. Round 5, Pick 149 - Dillan Gibbons - Guard Left guard prospect with 1st year starter potential. Has a nasty demeanor that plays through the whistle, has the ability to get to the second level. Round 6, Pick 186 - DeWayne McBride Probably the deepest RB class we have seen in the past few years. I think teams will be able to find starters in all rounds of the this years draft. (My crush is Roschon Johnson, but he'll go earlier than this pick) One guy who I like late is DeWayne McBride. Low center of gravity, with the ability to break tackles. Offer's plenty of speed at the position to break those long runs, and would be a great developmental piece behind Henry, with starter potential. Round 7, Pick 230 - BPA NOTES - I think RC needs to find a way to acquire more picks in this draft, as theirs a lot of talent in the middle rounds and a lot of needs to be filled. Not having a 4th this year really made this difficult. - I do not see us drafting a DB this year unless it's a hybrid S/LB. I think we have enough young talent in Fulton/Avery/McCreary/Molden with the addition of Harris to develop those guys. I could see a veteran added for depth/competition. (Purposely left Farely out) - Would like to add young another edge player, but couldn't find a great place to slot one in without a 4th this year. Dupree likely getting cut, Landry coming back from injury, Autry age I think the position needs addressed. Weaver still has too many holes in his game to be relied on consistenly. - Could also see multiple WR's selected in this year's draft, especially towards the end of the draft with a emphasis on speed. - I would expect our focus mainly be on offense in the draft, while we target UDFA for defense. Vrabel has been a good job finding developmental defensive players after the draft.
  23. Not sure how many people are interested in doing this again, but figured I would start the thread and see. @IrishTitansFan mentioned interest and @abenjami and a few others did all 7 rounds last year. Here is your chance to make picks for the Titans. What do you think would be the best picks, and approach to the draft? Rules are simple: When the titans make a pick, post the pick you wanted in this thread. I will add them all to one post to preserve them. No changing your picks. No hypothetical trades or any of that nonsense. When they pick, you pick. If they make a trade, you made that trade too. For picks 2 and on, make the pick you want them to make based on who is still on the board and based on who you decided to take previously....not based on who the titans took previously. If we could, keep this thread to the pick themselves and maybe a few word explanation if the poster wants to add one. At least until all the posters make their picks. It will make it easier to sort through and find the picks that way. After the draft, the plan is to let this thread go dormant and bring it back up next spring to see how people did.
