Disappointing (yet consistent) that Trump’s debate debacle did not cost him more in national polls. Listening to James Carville with Bill Krystal and he framed it best: it’s not about what pundits think regarding “winning or losing a debate”, but rather given Q&A from candidates to likely the voters, were any of them influenced to vote differently than beforehand? That’s the goal, and I’m unconvinced that anything matters other than doing everything possible to turn out voters who prefer sanity — because crazy/delusional is here to stay in 2024

Politically-motivated assassinations (or attempted assassinations) are pathetic third-world banana republic bullshit.  
 
The same applies to violent mobs attacking a nation’s capitol after losing an election.

And it’s all thanks to the one person who has served as the epicenter for every one of these embarrassing and disgusting incidents.

From the book "who moved my cheese?" , there's one of those fundamental queries of life posed quite simply: What would you do if you weren't afraid? While the primary story is to motivate proactively embracing change, etc, that question of removing fear should always be honestly addressed regardless of its origins or how well-founded.  imo, when fear is removed, Pete Buttigieg is as strong as any political candidate as I've seen and we'd be fortunate to have him as our president at some point in our future.

Trump universe believe they have every right to proselytize their hate fueled fearmongering and false narratives completely unbridled, unchallenged by any entity in order to manipulate the electorate.  They want everyone down in their fever swamps of 'America is a third world hellscape' bullshit complete with fake villains and heroes.
 
This sort of stuff used to be fringe activity, but now the repub party has mainstreamed it into our everyday politics, and in true thug fashion, with no fucks given as to the consequences to innocent people on the wrong side of their torches and pitchforks. Truly anti-American, and part of the reason repubs needed to jettison accountability from their core beliefs during this post-truth era Trump has mainlined into their veins.

Trump getting assassinated would be a nightmare.  It would effectively throw gasoline on the fire of America’s political divide and solidify Trump’s status as a legendary Che Guevara-type revolutionary for all the wacko conspiracy theory idiots.  
 
Trump is a self-serving narcissist and authoritarian wannabe…a national embarrassment who made a mockery of the Oval Office.  He deserves to be publicly mocked, humiliated, and exposed for charlatan he is.   A politically-motivated assassination would be a far more honorable death than he deserves.

One of the principles of QB is that look to you pass to where the blitze comes from.
 
The fact he had his head on the right slot before whipping left is showing you he is not making a read in real-time. If he was he'd see the DB blitz, the free release by Ridley and its a simple quick decision.
 
Instead he pre-decided his throw. What should be a step in his reads was just a fake to skip to a safe throw.  He then moved his feet to his target instead of his eyes and the ball. Defenses will eat that level of "reading the play" alive.
 
There is no handwaving the awfulness of this play - it is a game losing play in a situation that was designed and executed perfectly.
 
That should be a simple pitch and catch over the middle. The drift left should not happen at all. The throw is only attempted by a player either too full of himself to consider the teams position in the play that he already botched or too stupid to understand the play was dead.
 
You don't throw late to the sideline is an old adage. You don't throw an offhand shovel pass late to the sideline is not an NFL saying because no NFL players are that fucking stupid.

Trump LOVES celebrities and considers himself one, first and foremost. This is nothing more than another effort to target any dissenters, and sic his supporters on them, en masse.  Another personal failure from the least presidential candidate in recent history.

Last week was a textbook example of a team snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and finding a way to lose.  
 
Somehow just one week later, they managed to repeat not just one but TWO of the biggest and most unforgivable mistakes that changed the course of last week’s game.    
 
This team has a lot of good talent on the roster…but not nearly enough to overcome the repeated self-inflicted wounds we’re seeing.
