  1. Past hour
  2. Its not the same. You dont want coaching staffs coaching in the final year of their contracts. Carthon and Jrob were extended well before that. Jrob can't explain but carthons came with a big fat promotion. You guys are just seeing what you want to see.
  3. Besides the fact I'm obviously being light hearted about it, there is definitely a trend. Robinson- extended and fired within a year. Vrabel- extended and fired within a year. Carthon-extended and fired within a year. Staff- same thing. She's diversifying her options on who to extend and fire! Or at least I am light hearted about it. I think she deserves criticism, but she isn't some terrible owner.
  4. To be honest idk if anyone knows what a catch is. Its a whole page of the rule book full on contradictory crap. Most of us do know an elbow, knee or ass is two feet though.
  5. Who cares? It’s not like wasted coaching salaries affect anything going forward.
  6. Except this isnt the same as extending a GM who isnt going into the final year of their contract. Nothing to see here. Dont be part of the bean counter's mob.
  7. Elite is a huge stretch. He isn't elite. He's a good coach who has lost multiple playoff games directly because he was too conservative. If he fixes his meddling with the offense and maintains his lane then yeah he could become a great coach. I hated seeing him go for it on 4th and 2 up ten. That was send out the FG unit time in Nashville.
  8. Not this stupid ass fucking shit again.... 1. They didnt seriously considering firing Callahan in the offseason. Brinkers comments on callahan have been completely misconstrued by fans and media alike. Brinker said they decided early on Callahan should come back. Thats it.... Secondly extending the staff was done to ensure continuity going into year two so they weren't lame ducks. Most assistants are on 2 year deals. Callahan just sucked and the team was so bad they had to make a move midseason Lol at the overreaction because you dont understand how teams operate. They do this sort of shit all the time. Its not unique to the Titans but dont let facts get in the way of a good narrative.
  9. You are over simplifying it. Vrable had a good grash of the rules and knew how to motivate players. He was terrible with x's and o's which is fine for a bureaucratic head coach. The problem is he wanted yes men and not good coordinators. He wanted a pupet gm. He couldn't scout college talent to save his life, hello malik and panda. His ego did him in and that is all there is to it. If not for robinson destroying the roster he would have flamed out eventually. It just Would have taken longer. Without peak Tannehill, henry and a pees or Schwartz lead defense he was mediocre. If he learned from his mistakes and lets the gm do their job and gets good coordinators, he could be very good. Idk if he can let the power go though. We will see.
  10. Better than TRUMP??? Good luck…
  11. My personal feeling, if he wanted roster control, was that it was only because he had no confidence in our front office. If we had a competent FO, I don’t see him making a power grab. but it’s all speculation. That aside, he’s still an elite head coach. And it’s being proven as we speak in NE

  13. There is an argument to be made Vrabel should still be the HC, but it starts before he was fired and leads back to the decision to hire Carthon. I don't think it would have worked here though. Vrabel would have had the same power here as in NE without the infrastructure they have in NE. Here it would have been Cowden as yes man and that's it. Once Carthon was hired and the situation unfolded there was no way to not fire him.
  14. Lol…. It’s pretty simple to see why he should have been retained. Don’t overthink it.
  15. It really is wild how many times this has happened to the point it's a distinct pattern.
  16. No clue. It was obvious he wanted out and it (his coaching tenure with us) had run its course . They hired the wrong guy. Doesn’t mean the decision to move on from him was wrong.
  17. Again ... Aimless Amy Truly no direction and floundering from one thing to the next on a moment to moment basis. She does this constantly. If you get an extension, start packing your bags. That's the most likely person to be fired.
  18. We need the resident retards to come in here (especially one in particular) and tell us how they still think Reagan was the greatest American president ever. Please tell us how he was the greatest and explain why you have such mindless approval of the shit going on now. Between the tariffs and now the "open borders", the double talk should be delicious.
  19. Why is it so difficult for some of ya'll to grasp the variables for why moving on from Vrabel was not only the right move, it was the only move?
