  1. Past hour
  2. When Herndon is the voice of reason you know its bad. 1 is laughable, 2 is the one of the few times I've seen Titans media or fans admit McCreary was at best average.
  3. And he hasnt changed the way he plays and hasnt had a penalty since week 1. I'm pretty sure it was also Wilson (but maybe his DB coach) that said he doesnt need to change the way he plays. Cleaning up techniques and changing how you play are different asks. And regardless, thats not "insubordination" in any sense.
  4. Apart from the Parsons trade a lot of these recent trades have been either player for player or pick swaps teams are becoming more reluctant to straight up trade picks. The additional picks can come from trading back in the draft.
  5. yeah right. Some time Saturday you'll make a post about how the line is moving and you expect the Titans to beat the Chargers!
  6. I think offloading Chig will be a mistake. We haven't had the offensive capabilities to utilize him. We've got money to extend him for a couple years.
  7. Not directed at you but I hate this player reached x mph bullshit that we've gotten over the past few years. its a useless stat that sounds cool and everyone uses them without actually asking what does it mean?
  8. I had hope after the whisenhunt years we’d turn it around and we did, I have no hope of this thing turning around currently, I think we’re headed for Browns, Jets, raiders territory of bad years after year of failure and terrible teams.
  9. because of the pick swap? moving up 65 spots is basically the same thing....
  10. Borgo ain't lyin when he says he's making 5 year decisions
  11. He was litterally quoted on camera saying he wasnt go change after being asked about Wilson saying he needs to cleanup his technique....
  12. i look forward to finding out the true story but it sounds like from the player interviews that no one thought he did anything wrong. All the players backed up Brownlee. His coaches said he didnt need to change how he played. It sounds mostly like Borg had an emotional move and /or just wanted to see his guys start that he brought in. It feels much better to bash the player because of the situation we are in... but there's zero evidence pointing to malcontent or insubordination.
  13. What a terrible year. Just wasted a whole year of football down the drain. This team is not going very far any time soon, it might take 2-3 years to become competitive again. First you have to find a head coach, he’s got to fill out his staff, then draft extremely well without having any misses, get free agent top level talent to come here. It’s never been a worse time to be Titans fan.
  14. While it should absolutely be on the table think this might be the first time I have seen a report that Pollard is actually one of the players who is available before the trade deadline shuts.
  15. Trading a player in his second year is like trading a car in just a few weeks after purchasing brand new. You just lost money, for nothing.
  16. These trade valuations are hard to figure: Brownlee a 5th round pick who, although imperfectly, outplayed his 5-146 draft status and goes with a 7th round pick to the Jets for only a single 6th rounder. McCreary drafted at 2-35 (third pick in round 2?) only garners a 5th rounder and a pick swap of a 6th. He made the starting unit (nee on a bad team) for four years. SMH.
  17. Ward is not the problem. The turnover in staff, FO, and players is the problem. Directionless football where the incentive is to play not to lose rather than take risks. Trying to find deals in players and prioritizing picks over contrubuting players. Those are the issues. Losing Mccreary sucks but is manageable. But dumping the whole CB room and acting like it can be easily fixed is asinine.
