  1. Past hour
  2. likly both of GMs made the reference at some point and Embid, the resulting high pick for Philly even had the moniker for some time, “the process”. That said, it’s also a term of frustration and continued delayed expectations while the front office desperately tries to navigate shitty teams, dubious draft picks, cheap free agents, and sooner or later acknowledging that’s players/contracts have a finite time. And so do fans. tldr: results, or progress please, or the decision makers can gtfo for the next guys dedicated to winning with less excuses.
  3. The front office is embracing a complete rebuild, not the competitive rebuild Ran tried. They might have 2 possible winning games left....Browns and Saints.
  4. Yes his last 3 games have seen a big uptick in pressures/sacks.
  5. My memory must be failing me as I thought in the moment I was more disappointed with the Dike pick than what I posted at the time. I do remember wondering why they didn't take Jalen Royals who the Chiefs drafted later in the 4th round.
  6. Dremont Jones has played well lately. A sack in four straight games or something.
  7. Was surprised to see the Titans are tied with the Eagles for sacks this season.
  8. I don’t know if they are clearly doing it (in terms of outwardly tanking) but yeah they obviously want the #1 pick and deal that for a bounty and accelerate the rebuild.
  9. Thank you. So real goodies in there from the peanut gallery.
  10. Exactly. It's exactly the strategy Brinker has been talking about. Remains to be seen if AAS has the patience to let it develop the roster though. They want to draft well and have coaches that will develop that talent. Then sign the core players and either let the others walk or trade them for draft capital that they can then develop.
  11. I think that one was originally coined by some 76ers or Rockets GM, Hinkle. Either way, I’m trusting the Titans one for now.
  12. With this pass rush and now this coverage unit it's next to impossible to imagine them stopping anyone
  13. They don’t need to making additional moves. They were already at the front of the line in terms of lack of talent.
  14. Wouldn't say intentionally tanking all they are doing is trying to get something for players who they have already determined are not part of their future plans.
  15. Some of this stuff is cracking me up. You guys have never sat through other rebuilding periods from your favorite sports team, have you?
  16. Lol ...I know I was looking forward to the AFCC appearance until I heard about McCreary.
  17. Get ready for part 3 next week. The Chargers are going to beat the crap out of the Titans. The Chiefs and Seahawks as well.
  18. It’s just an interesting factoid, and has entertainment value in the moment, imo, like a classic big man rumble. The time it’s useful is when a guy beats out someone chasing on a pursuit angle, like when Van Jefferson housed it like a track star in the preseason when I was sure dude would get caught.
  19. We're probably going to finish as one of the 3 or 4 worst teams again just because of how bad the team is. We'll have premium picks and the opportunity to get blue chip players and/or trade back. We want to see progress from the rookies, but there's a long way to go from progress to actually being a threat to win most of these games. But either way, Brownlee had little to do with, is the point? And all the gushing over him and gnashing of teeth over the Titans is just silly?
  20. The Titans front office could also be making these moves to tank?
  21. I tried having optimism but damn these last 2 showings really dampened my spirits. Losing badly to the pats and then getting destroyed by a division rival. Only thing I look forward to now is a Colts collapse but that’s not looking like it any time soon, they are extremely well coached and their depth is superior to any team in the AFC across the board.
  22. Nor are you observant. I secretly hid the edge player within my prior message as well as this one. The key to solve this mystery is with you! Its Arden Key lol.
  23. Top speed like that is pretty useless in the NFL. Most plays are more quick bursts of stop and start moves. Quickness is way more important than top speed.
  24. Bingo which means one of two things: 1. Its not an impressive feat and we should stop treating it as such 2. The way the data is being measured is faulty
