Exactly. It's exactly the strategy Brinker has been talking about. Remains to be seen if AAS has the patience to let it develop the roster though. They want to draft well and have coaches that will develop that talent. Then sign the core players and either let the others walk or trade them for draft capital that they can then develop.

It’s just an interesting factoid, and has entertainment value in the moment, imo, like a classic big man rumble.
