Tex in a Can
I've gone to titans games here where it is a beautiful fall day in the 60's and the roof is closed . They like the bigger crowd noise I think.

Recent Openings: The roof was opened in 2020 for the first time in six years. It was also opened for a few select games in 2021 and 2022, including vs. Seattle in 2021 and against the Bears in 2024. Anything near 80F, and definitely anything above it is considered too muggy by whoever makes the decision, and anything below 70F is consider too cold by fans. I might not have the exact numbers right but it really is some narrow temperature range like that. Also, it is based on forecast throughout the game (i.e. I remember one evening game - perfect day about 70F at game time, and they decided to close it because it would be 65F by end of game - the announcers were making fun of the situation ), so since most games will be outside that narrow band, they keep it closed almost every game. Hyperion
The Diamondbacks also have a retractable roof for obvious reasons. Occasionally you get an April game with the roof open but it's incredibly rare.

CreepingDeath
The whole "give the Oilers back to Houston" stuff is really a dig at the Texans. People saying that are implying 1) the name "Texans" is lame as fuck; and 2) the colors of the Texans are inferior to the Titans. So whenever you see this whining online, especially from Texan-fans, throw this in their face. Tag JJ Twatt with it and any other crybabies. titanruss, and Tex in a Can

TF_Titan
I mean...the Titans obviously own the rights to the Oilers color scheme, which has nothing to do with the Texans. But if their fans are taking it as a "fuck you" I'm good with that. Callidus, and IsntLifeFunny

I seem to remember us getting to a championship game in that time frame even if it was sandwiched between some turds. KogaShuko
jphardy
It really isn't that hard to figure out. The history of the team belongs to the owners of the team, not a city. People see the Browns-Ravens situation and get confused. Edited Sunday at 07:01 AM by jphardy KogaShuko, and Callidus

Somedude
The only time I think about the Texans is when the Titans play them. Otherwise I don't think about them at all. This crying over a team from 30 years ago on either side is pathetic. More pathetic when you shit on your own team to bring back some mediocre team from the 90s. I don't even see this from the Jazz. Granted been 50 years. So maybe in 20 more years people will shut the fuck up?
