Of people booked into ICE custody this fiscal year (since October 1, 2025): Nearly three in four (73 percent) had no criminal conviction. Nearly half had no criminal conviction nor even any pending criminal charges. Only 8 percent had a violent or property criminal conviction. Only 5 percent had a violent criminal conviction. A majority of criminal convicts had vice, immigration, or traffic convictions. Popular Post reo Posted January 24 Popular Post Report Share Posted January 24 (edited) So the facts we know right now... subject to change as the investigation continues. 1) The man was lawfully recording ICE agents. 2) The man had a permit to carry and was armed. 3) ICE agents pinned him down and disarmed him. 4) ICE agents then shot and killed him once he was unarmed. 5) ICE agents then tried to prevent local law enforcement from securing the scene. 6) ICE agents then detained and removed witnesses.
