But none of those even happen without Dyson's return against Buffalo. My seats were on about the 38 yard line on row 3 on the Titans side. I had a great view of the throw. I was 100% convinced it was a forward lateral so while the crowd was going ape shit I was just standing there pissed thinking it was going to be reversed. I was in shock when it wasn't. It wasn't until I got home and watched the replay that I realized it was a legal play. NashvilleNinja

Fisher ran Eddie George into the Bills elite run defenses every single 1st and 2nd down and left them in 3rd and 10 every series. It was one of the dumbest offensive game plans of all time. Shortly after this they hired Dinger and it got better but it was worthy of getting fired for had they not had the miracle. TitansFan23
The MCM game was boring. I was there, typical January overcast, it wasn’t cold just gray. Multiple people were heading to the exits at the end. Johnson lost his shoe, it was boring coming off the 12/26 game vs the Jags where McNair threw 5 TD passes. The ending was priceless. Was at both games with my Father (RIP). ChemEngr79

He did the same in the Super Bowl.

McNair really didn't start hitting his stride as a passer until the next season. While they did force feed Eddie too much that year, I'm not sure McNair was ready to "cook" yet either. TitansFan23
Further more, NOD played a role while Steve was injured but Mac came back and took us there. He was ready. Fisher was just an idiot. He came back against the Steelers and threw a TD to Jackie Harris iirc. Edited March 22 by TitansFan23 titanruss, and DCTitan

Went to the sideline with a bloody ass mouth like he got mugged in an alley. As McNair was warming up I think they started playing Eye of the Tiger over the PA and I said to myself "that's the wrong song to play, dummies". But yeah , I agree fucking Fisher almost managed a win into a loss and got bailed out by a semi miracle ST play. I was internally after Rob Johnson led that TD drive and thought it was another bad Oileresque playoffs loss.

He came in as a starter in 2000 against the Chiefs. Edited March 22 by TitansFan23
