The secondary is really good on paper but Gonzo and Carl Davis have been losing way more reps than they should this season. If Herbert is good, the Chargers win imo Landry had a pretty good year actually. 9 sacks 48 pressures, PFF grade in the 70's. Nothing ground-breaking but pretty much what he did here. Chaisson had a very similar year. They're both good enough to take advantage of bad tackles . I just think Herbert is good enough to dice them up before the rush gets there. The flip side is that Maye is every bit as capable and the NE running game is more versatile. Vrabel is gonna have to earn his money by out-coaching Harbaugh. Yeah, it's getting close to do or die time with Herbert. I don't think his job is anywhere near any kind of danger or anything but I've long thought of him as top 5 QB despite his very light resume.
