Watching him more, the way he glides reminds me a bit of Torry Holt. There's this suddenness to their cuts that creates space with really fluid hips. I don't think he has the same speed though. Obviously if that's a real comp you take him at 4, but I'm just talking about the way he cuts at full speed without losing any momentum.

Love immediately makes you a more explosive team. He's going to add 10-20 TDs a year through the run and pass game. He's going to upgrade your pass protection. He's going to force teams to account for

The Jaguars gave up what again for Travis Hunter? This notion we should take less capital is kind of mind boggling. If a team wants to move then they need to pay the full price.

Wait. Who’s he on now?

They had been talking about Daniel Jeremiah's comments on Tate not being a shock at 4 and it felt like Lyons was trying to lay down some reasoning to swing back to Love at 4 and using the OL makeup as a reason to go with Love.

Of course, he was also simultaneously comparing Tate to AJ Green while offering to the backhanded comment that Tate would be a slight reach at 4.

Listening to Lyons talk about this shit feels like listening to a pretzel talk. And I have to wonder where he got the AJ Green comp. Maybe Pat Surtain? But afaik I'm the only one who brought up both the Green comp and Surtain being someone else who saw the similarity to Green. Maybe he saw it from someone else though.

I don’t think he’s ever fully gotten off Love. At least not yet

I am basically at, we need to find a way to get Washington to trade up to 4.

They take Love or Tate, ahead of the Giants.

Giants take whoever is left between Love or Tate or pivot to Delane, Styles, or Downs.

Browns take either Mauigoa, Freeling, or Delane.

Boom! We take Reuben Bain!

Again, could also see a team like the Rams or Cowboys throwing a lot to get up to take Tate (Rams) or Delane (Cowboys).

And for all the blather about how he's never been a #1 there, the comment the color analyst makes early in this highlight vid is spot on. Ohio State doesn't have a #2 receiver. They just have a bunch of #1s.

Garrett Wilson's QBs have been trash, but he's been the unquestioned #1 since he got to NYC. Chris Olave has been the #1 in NO, when healthy. JSN is possibly the #1 receiver in the whole league rn. Marvin Harrison is the #1 in AZ, Ebuka may not yet be in Tampa yet, but he will be this year or next. Tate will be wherever he goes and so will Jeremiah Smith next year.

I’m kind of hoping the newest lawsuit against Nacua might force them to move up (to 4!) to secure Tate as their #1 WR .

The one thing I can't wrap my mind around is how terrible he is with the ball in his hands.

Tate not re running today is a large tell.  He will fall coming the draft.
