But I'd like go ahead and settle this irrelevant bit of trivia since I'm down the rabbit hole and curious now. Levi's Stadium is in Santa Clara, but Santa Clara and San JOSE (not Francisco) both make up the same metropolitan area, do they not? And since San Jose is the one the international airport is named after I'm assuming Santa Clara is the smaller town in the larger San Jose area, like Madison is for the Nashville area. So my earlier camment that "San Jose doesn't quite have the same ring to it as San Francisco" isn't out of place. But if I'm wrong I'd be interested to know how since I'm not from there.
