While yes we started 0-6, the team made a legitimate run for the playoffs in the 2nd half of the season, finishing 8-8. CJ was key to that. Shhhhh, That doesn't fit the narrative. The Titans played an absolute creampuff schedule after the 0-6 start. They played two good teams, SD and the Colts. They were blown out in both those games. CJ was getting a ton of carries in the 4th quarter of both losses, as they didn't even try to throw the ball. The Titans lost to SD 41-17, CJ had 142 yards rushing in that game. He had 10 carries in the 4th quarter. There sole purpose after the 00-6 start was too get CJ yards

It's totally false Teams always play their star players in blowout losses into the final two minutes fighting for their playoff lives, right?

I don't think it was about getting paid per se though. I think he tried to bulk up to handle more of the load and he lost what made him great early in his career when he did. But he'll always be my favorite Titans RB. If I had to pick someone's peak, it'd be CJ.

Henry has always been fast, especially for his size, but CJ had speed few players ever have at any position. He could outrun any angle you threw at him in 08/09. Those two years will probably always be my favorite from any Titans RB. titanruss, Legaltitan, and Bongo59
