wishful thinking. The Titans are now no higher than 3rd on the timeline. That means the Giants and Raiders have a major headstart. The Raiders could decide to not let Stefanski leave the building, like the Titans did with Callahan two years ago.

By rule, they can't though, at least not literally. But under the table handshake agreements happen sometimes of course.

What if the reason Weaver isn't on the list is that he doesn't fit their formula? 

 

What if Shula, Kubiak, Campanile, and Minter don't either? 

 

I guess it's too early to make a broad assumption like that, but it's something to consider until we see otherwise.

I said it before that I knew he wouldn't live up to the hype but I couldn't have imagined the line would look like straight up shit. 

 

After watching it for a year I still think he made everything to complex. When he was gone and they simplified everything it got better.

This. Also his run game philosophy is antiquated with the modern speed of the NFL, the run plays are too slow developing, partially because of too many moving parts.

It does appear that the reporting from Easton back in like October that they only wanted former head coaches and guys with at least 5 years of play calling was true so far.

 

Pretty disappointed in that tbh

Entirely possible. If they don’t request Shula, Burke, or Weaver at some point today, I would imagine they might not. 
 

Of note though, I haven’t seen anyone confirm an interview for Shula or Burke anywhere yet

That was my thought about Shula as well. And Campanile or Minter.

I like Stefanski. I’m great if he’s the hire. But we rushed Callahan and I don’t want that to be the case this time.
