This is a quote from MTG..between this and the Epstein files, I am getting worried that I am sharing more and more of her viewpoints.

Clearly a sign of the apocalypse

MTG is a dummy, but she's a populist with her finger in the wind, a human barometer.

Just a sign that she knows they're on the losing end of these issues.

Healthcare is a very costly proposition no matter how you slice it.  Whether it’s privatized insurance or a taxpayer—funded national single-payer type of program…expenses will run well into the thousands of dollars per person per year.

Personally, I believe that money should go to a program that puts healthcare and medical decisions into the hands of doctors and healthcare providers who are primarily focused on the patient’s health and wellbeing.

Meanwhile,  Republican politicians push for Americans to keep paying  hundreds/thousands of dollars a month to privatized  insurance corporations who base medical decisions  on profitability rather than the patient’s best interests and whose primary focus and obligation is to shareholders and senior executives instead of public health and wellbeing.

Well it’s cheaper everywhere that has universal healthcare. It’s also better for the vast majority everywhere that has universal healthcare (the wealthy can afford the best available here, of course).

In America, healthcare is about profit. It’s primarily just a business. In the end, that’s the problem.

In America, EVERYTHING is about profit.   It's tilted toward big business.  In the end, oligarchy is the problem.

Some things are fine being a business though (not that they don’t need better regulation). Healthcare shouldn’t be.

There is another message they need to push.....

Republicans refused to negotiate all summer when the government was open.   Why believe they would change now?

The message they should push is restating one of Obama's favorite lines ...... "elections have consequences".
