PK and some of the fans vastly underrate what Simmons does. He's a straight up game wrecker and totally worth his contract.    He just turned 28, he's got 3-4 years left of prime

“WHY CANT THEY PROTECT HIM?!”   *by the end of the quarter*   ”WHY ARENT THEY TAKING MORE DIALED UP DEEP SHOTS?!”

Saying this team needs a win is the understatement of the century while I'm not in the camp Callahan is facing immediate job security concerns the pressure of continual losing does nothing useful for

Umm... I hate to say this, because I don't want to jinx it, but this mfer may have just guaranteed a Titans win on Sunday. We'll see if the foosball goshs agree...

But he didn’t show up to voluntary OTAs!!!

I don't get the desire from some fans wanting to find out how much worse this defense would be without Simmons.

There is no doubt teams are going to come asking about him ahead of the trade deadline like they reportedly did last season. I do wonder if this losing continues whether Simmons finally starts agitating for a move.

One way or another they are going to have to deal with his contract this offseason as there is no way he steps on a football field next season without some new guaranteed money.

Big couple of weeks upcoming for this team because in the background you have the Grim Reaper Chad Brinker just waiting to put up the for sale sign ahead of the trade deadline if this team falls to 0-4 with two divisional losses.

The Titans will, and should, pay Simmons

I have zero doubt that is what they plan to do the question remains if the losing continues does Simmons who only has so many years left want to go somewhere where he can win immediately.

You'd never get value if you traded Simmons in season. And although it seems bleak right now with Ward it's more than possible the Titans could be winning next year.

Besides these guys care about getting multi-million dollar deals more than trying to "win" at this point in Simmon's career

I'm in no way advocating trading Simmons but I certainly wouldn't blame him if he wanted out of this dumpster fire. This would be the third straight losing season and he is going to get his money whether its here or elsewhere.
