He might as well be a bonus draft pick, so I’m giving him his own thread   https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Xavier-Restrepo-WR-Miami

Brain: He's a UDFA. It's worth a shot and costs basically nothing. Probably never does anything and likely doesn't even make the 53.   HEART: STEAL OF CENTURY. WARD AND RESTREPO CANTON BOUND

Or they liked him but knew he'd go undrafted with that 40' time so why waste the pick if you don't have to.

It's amazing that Restrepo was able to accumulate more stats in college vs Moss, Wayne, Irvin and Andre Johnson considering he played 1-2 more seasons than any of them!

Almost all of his production came the last 2 years. That said, late bloomers rarely work out.

The funny thing is all the great Miami WRs had 40+ catches and 600-80 yards as their best season. Only AJ cracked 1k one time out of Moss, Irvin, Wayne and Johnson.

Yup, looked up their leading guys when I heard he was the leading receiver. Was a bit shocked how little actual production they all had.

Your discounting Welker is super hard working, super smart, very likeable, easy to coach, disciplined

Restrepo, from first look he's none of those, plus non athletic!

If it's a hamstring, and we take care of him to let him get well and he really runs a 4.65 or better, he could very well be one of the slot receivers, maybe even next year.. remember guys, he's a prospect who needs further development, and this is not about turning it around in this first season or Brinker/Borgonzi/Calli

I'm thinking about Tyler Boyd.. reliable slot receiver, averaged like 11 yards per catch in his mostly Cinnci career..
